Chapter 5
He grinned then looked at her, "In the flesh, Instructor…or...well, sorta, kinda..." He rolled his eyes then sighed, "I'm here anyway - for now, at least." She stared at him for another moment. "I don't understand. I SAW YOU DIE!"
He smirked at her, "Yeah, bout that....!" He sighed, "I'm not here forever, Quistis. Just until we get this mess sorted - one way or another." She tilted her head and looked at him, "This mess? You mean me?"
He looked at her sadly, "Yes, love. I mean you. Not just you, though.... there’s something REALLY BIG coming. I don't know what exactly, The Powers That Be weren't THAT specific. All I really know is that they will send me visions and stuff as necessary."
Quistis stared at him quizzically, "What about the dreams?" He smiled at her, "They WERE to be the way originally but you invited me, so here I am! I'm not complaining though. I missed you, Quistis." They stared at each other for a moment and suddenly they were in each others arms.
She closed her eyes, he was really here. Granted, only for a limited time but, the main thing is that he WAS here. Curiosity got the better of her though, "How WERE you supposed to pass on these messages originally, Seifer?"
He smiled a sweet smile, "Always so curious, Quistis! I was meant to receive the messages and pass them on to you in your dreams. Fortunately, they realised that this would not be adequate and they told me that if you invited me, I could come - so here I am!" She frowned as a thought occurred to her. "What will you tell the rest of them when you see them?"
He shrugged. It's been arranged already. Everyone else now thinks that I was injured in the explosion and lost my memory but that it came back to me today and so here I am...! Handy huh?"
That's it, Quistis understood what was going on! Quistis Trepe had officially lost her mind!
