The Angel's Redemption

Yuna wakes up before Sephirot hagain, admiring her lovign angel's face, smiling while she does. *Sephiroth...* she remains silent, as to not wake him up, and hears knocking on their door. "Hey Yuna, why's the door locked?" it was Tidus, wanting in. He pounds louder, which wakes up a now irritated Sepiorht, who puts on his pants and walks to door, after Yuna dresses herself. He nods to her and opens the door, the blonde falls foward, which makes Sephiroth move out of the way. "What is it boy?" the boy looks up at him, "The least you could do is remember my name." he scoffs at the teen and picks him up.

"What is it you want?" he glances at Tidus, who is staring at him. "Just coming to get you two, we're ready to leave." he looks at Yuna's sleepy form, who promptly recieves a smack to the back of his head. He glares at the swordsman and walks out, grumbling. "Prepare yourself Yuna, I'll wait outside the door." she nod at him, Sephiroth grabs his sword and overcoat, putting the black leather coat on, and walks out the door, closing it. He stands there, waiting or Yuna to open it, letting him know that she's done. After an hour, she comes out, looking as she ever did, beautiful. She looked up at him and smiled, and he returned the smile, they walk out to the lobby and nod at the others who nod back and walk out. After a few hours of slaying fiends and dodging lightning, they arrive in Macalania Woods, after a brief stop under a protective tower, they walk into the woods, speaking with the same man from Kilika. Barthelloe is panicing because he lost Dona, his summoner. Auron gives him some adivce, "You have to keep cool, and search. Guard your emotions, then guard your summoner." Sephiroth found the legendary guardian wiser than he had originally judged.

hey proceed through the woods, and come across a merchant, Oaka, Sephiroth buys soem Hi Potions from him, and the yproceed on, where Auron smashes through some ice, and wlaks foward, the rest of the party in tow. They arrive at an odd tree, where Tidus seems confused. "Thisplace...it's water isn't it?" Auron stares at the watery surface, "This what Spheres are made of...it absorbs and preserves peoples memories.." Sephiroth smirks a bit, *Just like materia...the knowledge of the Cetra...within orbs...* then an odd watery globe like fiend rises out of the substance and attacks the group.

Sephiroth observes the fight for awhile and ndos to himself, casting a Bolt3 spell at the fiend, after it had casted a Water spell, it convulsed a bit and lunged at him, he easily avoided the attack, but falls hard, being slammed into the ground.na glared at the monster and found Sephiroth's red amteria, which had fallen from his grasp after the fiend grabbed him, she yelled in rage, "Let him go!" she concentrated and summoned Neo Bahamut, wishing it was teh dragon from before, she was wrong, a giant red dragon landed softly, and roared, shaking the ground. "Please...save him!" she points at the silver-haired man, flailing about. The beast nods and flaps his wings, flying up, and towards the two, freeing Sephiroth, setting the man down behind him, and using it's increible power, lifts the ground under the Spherimorph, and the fiend itself up into the air. They fly high up, and Yuna sceams, "Use your best attack!" the dragon loosk down at her and only nods, beginning to unleash Giga Flare. A large orb of energy conures in front of it's mouth and Bahamut unleashes teh devastating attack, releasing a large yellow beam that increases in size, completely obliterating the fiend and the ground udner it, sending shards down below, pyreflies flying upwards, Neo Bahamut, having finished it's task, disappears, returning to the little red orb.

Sephiroth lays on the ground, breathing heavily, she runs over and pulls out the Master Green Materia, casting FullCure, bones crack and muscles refreshed, he groans. "I need to practice a bit more..." he says sarcastically, she hits hsi chest lightly, and kisses him, to the shock of everyone, Tidus especially, except for Lulu, who only smiled. *Looks like...they did it.* Tidus runs over and picks up Sephiroth, "What did you do?!" he glares at him, but recieves another smack from Wakka, "Put him down Tidus." he glares back at the blitzer captain. He throws Sephirot hto the ground, who stands up, ready to kill the teen. "I..don't need...to explain myself..to a brat!" he lunges at the blonde, kicking him in the chest, hard. Tidus flies back into the tree, and groans in pain. "I've been wanting..to kick your ass...for a long time!" he kneels down, the pain from his ordeal taking it's toll. He looks up to find the teen charging at him, he smrisk and vanishes, and reappears behind the stunned Tidus, hsi arm around the boy's enck, "You should've behaved..." he tightens his grip. The others stand in shock, but Auron runs at Sephiroth, "Let him go...I'll talk with him." Sephiroth glares at Auron, "This is...his LAST chance Auron...make sure he doesn't squander it!" the guardian nods, and he releases Tidus, who begins to cough and gasp for air.

Sephiroth falls back, nothing stops him, making him slam into the ground, causing him greater pain. Auron picks up Tidus, and drags him away, the teen cursing at Sephiroth, who ignores him, Yuna tending to his new open wounds, which bled profusely. They travel to the new agency near the lake and rest there. Sephiroth lays quietly, as Yuna tends to him, Tidus walks up, "Hey uh...Yuna..I'm..sorry." Yuna looks up at him and nods, the teen looks at Sephiroth's face, who's eyes are closed, his face pale, he sighs and walks away. Yuna contineus to tend to him, hoping he'll wake up, when Wakka screams out "Al Bhed!" Yuna doesn't move, hearing them burst in. "Sephiroth..I'm not leaving you..." they check the other rroms and kick the door in, startling Yuna, and they make for her, advancing quickly, she grabs Masamune and holds it up, her arms shaking, they all laugh at her and one of them kicks the sword away, pointing their guns at her. She cowers in fear from them, one of them shoots at Sephiroth, making her jump infront of him taking the shot, making her cry out in pain.

Sephiroth's mind screams at him to wake up, which he does, and sees Yuna doubled over, bleeding. He glares at the Al Bhed, murderously, making them back up, he stands up slowly, his wing spreading out, and holds out his hand, Masamune floating over into his grip, and slashes the gunmen in half, their lfieless bodies fall over, seperating as the fall. He picks up Yuna after dropping his sword, holding her close, "Yuna..Yuna! Come on... don't die..please...I need you..!" he casts FullCure a few times, to some avail, the bleeding has stopped, the wound still open. The young summoner continues to cry in pain, he holds her close as he sits on the bed. She continues to cry for anotehr hour, before she falls asleep, he lays down, being careful not to wake her. Auron and Lulu walk in seeing blood on Yuna, they rush over, "Is she ok?!" Lulu whispers, worried sick, Sephiroth only nods, petting Yuna's hair. "She'll be fine...she took a shot...for me..one of them...must've aimed for me..and she jumped in the way..." Sephiroth looked sad and regretful, *I'm at fault...for her pain..* he closes his eyes, and sighs. "Don't worry, the other Al Bhed have been taken care of, their machina as well." Auron looked at them, hiding a smile on how they looked, aside form teh blood, the swordsman only nods, "We'll depart as soon as Yuna is well." Sephiroth doesn't mvoe for the rest of the night, his eyes open, staring at Yuna's face, casting a Cure spell every now and then, his stomach growling loudly, sitting in the room for a week or two, making sure Yuna will wake up. The others waited, never seeing Sephiroth leave the room, they all sat in chairs, near the hallway, to catch a sign of him leaving the room for once.

They never did see him, until a couple weeks after the Al Bhed attack, Seymour showed up, looking a bit smug, with a hint of worry, "Where is Lady Yuna?" they all pointed to the one closed door at the end of the hallway, the dead bodies of the Al Bhed stacked up against the wall. "I wouldn't go in there...he nearly killed Tidus for doing it once.", Auron looked at the maester. Seymour just smiled and walked to the door, he knocked and there was no answer, he opened the door a bit, and yelled a bit, shocked, finding a blade tip sticking out of the door, barely missing his head. "Warned you..." Auron shook hsi head at the maester, who was against the otehr wall, but pushed the door open, "Beat it..." he looked down at the speaker, a man hunched over the bed with Yuna in it, a wing sticking out of his back, teh summoner was still sleeping, as it looked. Seymour shook hsi head, "I will do no such thing. I've come for Lady Yuna." Sephiroth stood and turned around, his hair a complete mess, "I said leave..." Seymour shivered a bit, and shook his head, a decision he would regret. Sephiroth picked up the maester and threw him out, he walked out slowly, his hair covering his face, "I see you in here again...I'll cut your head off..." he tursn around, and shuts the door behind him. A couple weeks later he walks out, Yuna standing next to him, clinging to his arm. The otehr guardians stand, waiting, the two lovers walk down the hallway slowly, due to Yuna's weak legs, after being in a month long coma. They both look around, Seymour nowhere to be found, they dismiss the thought and continue, Sephiroth holding Yuna close, she is wearing Sephiroth's overcoat, keeping her warm. Tidus just watches them, keeping quiet, as they enter the Macalnia temple, something seesm wrong, but they ignore it and continue on to the Antechamber. Yuna enters teh chamber with Sephiroth, for support.

Sephiroth frowns at the sight of Seymour as they walk out, who is waiting for them. "Well, well...I've been waiting for you Yuna.." Sephiroth stands tall, and Masamune in his grip, "You will not have her Seymour...not while I breath..." he grins, and Auron speaks up, "We know you killed Jyschal." the maester grins, "What of it?" Sephiroth frowns and picks up Yuna, landing in the midst of the others, his wing spread far out, Masamune in his hand, "We will defend her...even from you..." the maester grins "If you are offering your lives...I'll just have to take them." Yuna speaks up, "Seymour..I trust my guardians with my life, however, they are my friends, I will not stand by and watch them get hurt, that is why..I will fight you too!" They spread out, readying themselves for a fight with the maester.

He orders his guards to attack, who lunge at Kimahri and Tidus, who distract them while the others head for Seymour, they good a few good smacks, while being hit with the maesters powerful spells. Sephiroth stays by Yuna as she heals the others, protecting her. Seymour grows irritated and summons Anima, who throws the guardians against the wall opposite Seymour, "Kill the last guardian...then I will have Yuna..." he smirks evilly as the aeon obeys, aiming at Sephiroth, who picks Yuna up and jumps up, avoiding Anima's attack, and flys around, avoiding spells and abilities from the maester and aeon. He is hit but doesn't flinch, keeping Yuna close to him, he is hit by a Pain attack from the sinister summon, and tumbles to the ground, Yuna rolling away, he staggers as he stands up, bleeding a bit from his side, he shakes his head, and holds up Masamune, lunging at the giant aeon, swinging his sword and flying upwards, slashing at Anima, making it screech in pain. He grins and lands a few feet away, bringing his sword down, "That's enough!" he speeds foward, using a skill, slashing the aeon eight times. The aeon roars in pain as it begins to vanish, Seymour stands shocked, "What...not possible!" Sephiroth stands and swings his sword, preparing to kill the maester. "You should've stayed away...boy..." Sephiroth vanishes and reappears in a orb of darkenss, knocking the maester into the air, and proceeds to unleash combo attacks. The others stir and witness Sephiroth's flurry of swordswings and slashes upon the maester.

Sephirtoh grabs the bleeding maester, floating in midair, a murderous aura surrounding him, "This will ensure...you NEVER...go near her again..." immediatley finishing this, he throws Seymour into the ground and teleports them all to an odd plain of existance. "Die..." Sephiroth unleashes a flurry of comets upon the maester, after the attack finishes, the world around them returns to the temple, leaving the body of Seymour lying in the middle of the room. Yuna runs up to Seymour's corpse, looking it over, Sephiroth remains silent as he lands, his wing disappearing. He remains still, hearing Tromell drag away Seymour's body, and Yuna walking up to him.

"Sephiroth...what.." he doesn't look up at her, until she puts her finger under his chin and lifts his face up so she can see him. She doesn't move for a bit, then pulls him into a loving kiss, he wraps his arms around her after awhile and returns the kiss, smiling a bit. They look towards the exit and they continue on, Tidus solces the pathway puzzle, and they enter the lobby, where Guado await. They accuse them of murder and attack them, the group run past them, and reach the lake, where they are met by a couple more Guado and a Wendigo. After they defeat it, the fiend stomps on the ground, sending them plummeting into the empty lake.
