Memories Are Nice

I held my breath as we all watched Jyscal's sphere. Shaking my head, I just.. couldn't. I felt the tears rolling down my face. How could this monster kill his own father? Auron placed his hand on my back, trying to comfort me. It felt nice.

My jaw almost dropped when Wakka tried defending him.

"Are you kidding me Wakka?" I practically shouted at him. "He's a liar. And Yuna needs us, whether she wants us or not."

We ran toward the Cloisters. I smirked when I saw Kimari push the priest out of the way.

While running, Auron turned to me. "We have to protect Yuna, from anyone." I nodded, "Yes."

Yuna was already there, talking to Seymour. We rushed in, defending her. We battled. I sent spell after spell at him, but he seemed immune. Things were getting bad. Tidus was injured, I was running out of potions.

Suddenly, I felt a whoosh of power through me. Focusing my energy on one of the Guado Gaurdians, I cast Thundaga, completely frying him. I stared at him hands in suprise. I didn't know I was capable of such power. I caught Auron staring at me from the corner of his eye. Smirking, I started casting more spells.

The ground began to shake, and Seymour summoned Anima. In response, Yuna summoned her new aeon. Shiva was beautiful. She had an air of power around her. Yuna and her defeated Anima, and Seymour.

He collapsed and Yuna ran forward.

"Yunie," I shouted, "Stay away from him! He's evil!" She didn't listen though, and knelt by his body. Tromell rushed in. Oh no, I groaned.

We rushed from the temple, being chased. Yuna was in hysterics. She was a traitor in the eyes of Yevon. I felt bad for her. But then again, Yevon was just a bunch of bologne.

We had almost made it away, but our path was blocked by what looked like an Abominable Snowman. "What is that?" I whispered. Auron replied quickly, "It's a Wendigo. It's very strong so whatch our for it's arms. We battle until I thought I'd collapse of exhaustion. It began slamming its fists on the ground.

We began to fall. I started screaming as loud of my lungs could let me.

I opened my eyes, too sore to move. Auron had walked over to me, trying to help me up. "Are you all right Rikku?" I nodded, hanging on to him. I wasn't ready to stand on my own yet. Plus, I kinda liked the support. "Are we under the ice?" He nodded, "We fell a long way." Auron walked me over to a rock, and I sat down observing everyone.

Tidus was trying to stay optimistic, that's for sure. Wakka is in shock. Lulu looked worried. I looked to Yuna, who was laying on rock. After watching Kimhari and Tidus walk, Yuna woke up. She explained to us what had happened.

Auron took control, ready to discuss the pilgrammage. I really admire him. He is strong, ready to take down whomever stood in our way. He carried himself with confidence. It makes him look sexy when he takes control.. I smirked to myself.

Yuna decided we'd go to Bevelle. Personally, I hate Yevon and all that stuff, so I think going there would be a waste of time. However, I must protect her, so I shall follow.

I tuned back into the conversation, hearing Tidus say: "You can always count on Auron to complicate things!" I laughed, and so did Auron. It was nice to see him loosen up.

Auron walked off, and I followed him, ignoring the chills I felt. He stopped. I approached him slowly, "The Hymn is beautiful." He nodded, "It reminds me of Jecht.." Rikku nodded. She knew he missed his friends. "Auron," he voice was shaking, "Something isn't right." He placed his hand on his sword, "I know."

They ran back to the others, looking up once Yuna screamed. Sin was floating above us. I inhaled sharply.

Suddnely, the world went black.
