sorry I took a long time to write, I have so many ideas but I don't know how to lead up to certain events. R&R!!!!!

Yuffie looked at the approaching town coming into view. She curled up in the black coat Sephiroth wrapped around her earlier. The side of her face was now pressed against his chest. She heard his heartbeat that confirmed that Sephiroth was indeed a human being…maybe not a very nice one, but a human being none the less.
Suddenly, the chocobo swerved in front of an inn in the snow covered town. Yuffie felt Sephiroth's eyes upon her so she nervously began to pat the chocobo's head to avoid his gaze. He had not spoken to her until he had cast a healing charm an hour after he had beaten her. Yuffie flinched because she thought he was going to beat her again, but instead her lifted her chin up towards his face. Yuffie still wouldn't look at his face so she stared at his chin instead. Her breathing became heavy and her heart beat started to accelerate. She felt her body tense up in response to his touch. Her mind had many chaotic thoughts going through it. 'He's going to beat me…he's going to kill me…don't breathe too loud he might punch you….don’t' look at his eyes….' Yuffie always scorned women who let men beat them and rape them, but in this instance she gained understanding on how it felt to be over powered by someone else. She now knew how it felt like to be hurt, degraded, and scared all in one instant.

Sephiroth's voice interrupted her as he commanded her to look at him. She slowly lifted her eyes up to meet his. Sephiroth spoke quickly and said "We're going to pretend we are engaged. If anyone ask we are a newly married couple and we are spending our honeymoon here." Yuffie's eyes popped out in surprise as he withdrew a diamond ring and placed it on her finger. Yuffie stared at the ring and her heart gave a painful cry as she remembered how she used to daydream about finding her prince charming and getting married. The ring she saw on her finger now seemed to be a mockery of all her wishes, hopes, and dreams that she knew were never going to come true now. Her eyes blurred with tears as she angrily pulled off the ring and threw it down on the snow. She knew it was a foolish thing to do, but she was so angry and hurt by everything that she couldn't think straight. Her eyes flashed up at him and she yelled seethingly "I would never pretend to be married you, you piece of shit! I hope you go to hell! Watch when my friends come and find me, they'll kill ---" But her litany was cut off when he suddenly placed his mouth upon her lips. She tried to push him away, but he wrapped his arms around her whole body and pushed her tight against his chest. He kissed her hard and he kept petting her hair softly. Yuffie's tears came down upon her cheeks. Sephiroth stopped kissing her and began to kiss away her tears as if he were trying to soothe her and calm her down. Yuffie was confused, but she began to relax against him until his voice next to her ear froze her in her place.

"Listen you little bitch, people were watching your little show and they are watching us right now, so I'm being nice to you. Now, get your ass up from this chocobo or I swear to God I'll beat you into submission." Yuffie jerked her head up to look at the deadly expression in his eyes. Slowly she got off the chocobo and Sephiroth quickly followed. He reached down and put the ring on her finger again and pulled her to his side. Yuffie looked around and saw people staring at them so she quickly followed 'her beloved husband' into the inn.
