Chapter 6: Hacking

I was sitting in the Turk HQ with Reno and Elena. We were sitting in front of Elena's computer. She was skillfully searching Rufus' personnal database. "Tell me when I get on the image you saw yesterday kiddo." I froze. "Don't call me that Elena." She looked at me, she didn't know why I don't want to ever hear that nickname again. "Why?" She was still searching Rufus' computer. "Because I don't want to hear that nickname ever again." She found some images and saved them on her hard disk. I'm not sure what we are going to find but I'll go insane if I don't know. She found a blocked video link. "How are going to find the password?" asked Reno who was tapping his fingers on the desk. "With this program" She opens a new window and numbers start to spin, she turns around to look at us. "We just to wait for a couple of minutes."

She leans back in her desk chair. "I didn't know you had hacking skills." I said. "Well Reno never touches a computer and Rude... I don't know if he even know's what a computer is." I laughed. Probably he didn't. "Do you have a hacker on your team or you'll have to refer to me?" What? I never thougth about it, I guess I'll just repose on her. "I trust you way more than that idiot lapdog second of mine." I heard a bip, one of the twelve numbers had been found. "Lapdog?" She arched a blonde eyebrow. "Nothing, I just think he had alot of ass kissing to get in his position." She laughs. "Probably he did. Is he always that incompetent?" Hell yes. "Yep." Reno's tapping was starting to get on my nerves, I grabbed his hand and interwined my fingers with his. "Hey!" He exclamed. "You were getting on my nerves." He poutted like Zoey, ridiculous but damn sexy. If it wouldn't been of Elena I would of layed him on the desk and claimed him rigth at that second. I shook my head to get the idea out of my mind, not wanting to get aroused. An other bip. She saw the lust in my eyes. " I can leave you guys alone for a while..." No, please. "No it's okay." Reno slid his hand out of mine and started to look at some randoms files to pass time. A new bip.

I looked over Reno's shoulder, three bips came one after the other. The password was showing his self slowly, Reno was actually filling up the adopt demand I asked him to fill. "You had the form already?" I asked. "No I've got it faxed two hours ago." Good answer sweetie. "What form?" asked the too curious Elena. Seventh bip. "Adoption form." She smiles. "I was wondering when you were going to do it." What? "You carry Zoey around like if she was your daughter, I knew you would like her to be." Damn. She was too... know-it-all. A new bip. "Do have a new recruit to replace Tseng?" I asked. Tseng had died after Kadaj's defeat. "Yep, a former thief." answered my lover. "He comes from the slums?" I asked. "Yes, and he's damn cute." said Elena, after all he was going to be his partner. An other bip. I smiled. "I hope he won't lust around the boss." The redhead rose from the paper he was still filling. "Don't worry, besides have you seen the number of cadets that lust around you?" No... really I didn't. "No. As long as Aubrey doesn't get hard on me I'm fine with it." A bip. Two more to go. "Aubrey only have eyes for his hiearchic position." said the blonde Turk. "And ShinRa's ass." I added. The eleventh bip rose from the speaker in the same time that a general laugh bursted in the room. The last sound was heard.

Elena turned back to the screen. The view I had was the exact same one I had last nigth. The man lying on the table, life controlling devices everywhere. "Can you close up Lena?" asked her boss. She did and I recognized the man. Spiky dark hair, tall muscular body, I knew that behind the closed eyelids were blue mako infused eyes. The person lying on that freaking table was my first love.
