For Those Who Fight
“Alright, let’s rock!” Kira yelled pointing her katana at them.
“How boring!” Kyrie yawned and she lazily took out hers. Claire and I looked at each other and shook our heads. They’ve been playing Devil May Cry 3 too much. Steadily I pulled out my katana and gazed at all of them.
“Don’t rush into things Green, Blue...” I trailed off, feeling some one pull on my arm.
“Vio-senpai...” The older brunette started. “I don’t think they hear you.” She pointed over to the two who had charged the monsters already.
“Damnit...” I muttered. I heard something behind me and grabbed Claire as I jumped out the way. I landed on the ground. “Are you okay?”
“Yes.” She nodded. “But how did you do that?”
“The gravity.” I muttered. “Here it’s not that heavy, watch.” I stood up and noticed a giant green plant walking towards us. It was like the one from Final Fantasy X, but original from Final Fantasy IX.
I dashed towards it, with speed I didn’t know I had and swung my katana. I ended up behind it and placed the sword in my hilt. When it clicked, it fell in to pieces and disappeared in red smoke. I just pulled a Vergil Sparda on it. Claire smiled at me and noticed a little monster coming towards her. She drew her katana clumsily and I remembered we were being watch.
I cursed lowly and ran over to her, linking arms. She looked surprised as I picked up speed to spin around. Soon, we were so fast that we couldn’t see a thing. I let go, and we went flying into monsters in our path. I stopped, holding my head and turned to Claire who was stumbling slightly.
“That was insane!” Kira grinned at us as I smiled sheepishly.
“You think we all have our own moves like that with one another?” Kyrie stated as I shrugged.
“Highly probable. We could try it out with this bunch.” I said, eyeing the twenty monsters around us. “Ready?”Kira was with me and Claire went with Kyrie. We stood back to back as two giant ones surrounded us.
Smirking, we stretch out our arms and she pasted me her sword. I flipped one in my hand and did a stance. I ran towards the stone one and jumped up it, with out getting hit. Stabbing it in the head, I flipped off and ran towards the other where Yuffie was. I landed on top of its head and we were both thrown off in two directions, the swords falling with us. Luckily, I tied a very thin but unbreakable rope that was in my pouch and attached it to the katanas. We pulled each string and the katanas’ implanted themselves into the monster, killing it.
We high fived each other after we landed. Grabbing out swords and untying it, we gazed at the other two. Flipping Kyrie in the air, Claire fought the ones on the floor as Kyrie fought the air ones. They both swiped at the last five, sending an energy surge.
“Okay, that was too cool.” The eldest girl grinned as Claire smiled shyly. “It’s our turn Vio-senpai.” She smirked at me as a new set of thirty demon swarmed in. There was a blue surge through my left arm and I held it tightly. “Are you okay? Did ya get hurt?”
“N-No. I don’t know what it is.” I gazed at it and I swear I saw a blue symbol. My eyes widen and barely escaped the claws of the monster. Kyrie killed it easily. I opened and closed my hand, but nothing happened. “Okay, let’s do this.”
These demons where much faster, like a Blitz from Devil May Cry 4 but it couldn’t stop us. We need to prove we’re not lying... even though we really are.
I raised my arm and swung at it, making it jump back from the large gash now on it. Stabbing it, I finished it off and duck from the one jumping at me. My arm pulsed and I dropped my katana. Kyrie glanced at me and fended off a monster. I switched to my right arm and stood slowly. Where the hell is this coming from? I killed as many as I could and grabbed Kyrie’s hand. She looked bewildered then noticed the giant on e behind Kira. We tripped it as Kira jumped over us and stabbed it.
“Shit, Vio. What’s wrong?” Kira asked me as she touched my arm. I jerked it away, feeling a slightly shock.
“I told you, I don’t know. It just happed after the last fight.” I mumbled and watched as forty came out. “C’mon, you don’t want to mess up in front of Cloud or Zack... right?” I smirked as Claire and Kira shook their heads violently.
“This is one hell of a party!”Kira grinned as we all glared at her.
“Stop stealing Dante’s lines!” We yelled at her. Well, I just snapped at her so I didn’t yell to loud. She laughed.
Instead of teaming up, we just ran right in. I was getting tired and I know so where they. It didn’t help that my arm felt like it was broken. It feels weird using my right hand, since I’m left handed. Well I’m ambidextrous but I usually use my left hand.
We all looked at each other as fifty now ran out. I placed my katana in my sheath hilt first, causing it to stop directly at the blade part.
“What are you doing, Vio-sempai?” The older girl asked as I smirked.
“Just trust me.” The all copied me and waited for more instructions. Ignoring the pain, I gripped Kira’s hand and she held Claire’s while Kyrie held mine. Since the way my hilt, Kira’s hilt and Kyrie’s hilt was, we had to face inwards. “On san we all spin towards the left, ready?” They nodded. “Ichi... ni... san!”
We all started to spin around in a circle, gaining speed. Unfortunately, we didn’t let go of each other because we were going to fast to. As I predicted though, the swords cut through our enemies like paper. After they were all gone, we slowed down and dropped to the floor.
“It’s... so swirly...” Kira mumbled as I closed my eyes.
“I see... I see a light... Should I run to it?” Claire murmured.
“No... Stay here... idiot...” Kyrie muttered.
“Shit...” I sat up and stared at the entrance. “I think we have more to worry about.” They sat up and their eyes widen.
“Holy Fuck...”
