Homecoming
Written for prompt, "Lightning"
A hundred paces away, massive rocks floated. Lightning burst outwards, snaking towards them in veins along the ground. Sparks fizzled out barely twenty paces off. Boulders fell with a thundercrack.
Lucil's red hair lifted. Elma stood beside her, rapt, panting from the climb.
"It's good to be home," Lucil said.
Rain prickled flesh as leathers fell away.
Slickrock was not a comfortable bed, and the moist air was cool. Luckily, patrolling this desolate shore had inured both of them to bleak accomodations.
They rolled together, grappling, hands locked on wrists. Elma landed on top, straddling her captain.
Crazed kisses, thunderclaps. Water dripped from beads in Elma's hair as she leaned low to nip a golden breast.
Lucil stretched, luxuriating in her lover's novice exporations, letting her know with purrs wherever lightning struck: there, the hollow of her hip; there, a foot's arch.
The rocks shook again.
Elma's arms were trembling. Lucil held her hips as the younger woman lavished tongue's devotion through golden curls. Lucil lapped between her thighs, unrelenting.
Elma broke first, burying her face and quaking. Lucil came after with a shriek that matched the storm.
They lay cuddled together, tingling, savoring lightning's kiss in flesh and bone.
