Reno walked out of the elevator and up to the secretary's desk. "Is The V.P. in there?" Reno asked looking at her with a warm smile. Reno was still trying to maintain his 'lady killer' attitude, after all no one thought Reno of all people was capable of wooing men as well.
"Yes he is, Reno. Now, are you ever gonna ask me out?" Melina said putting her hand under her chin, looking at Reno with dreamy eyes.
"I would if I only had the time," Reno said, waving as he entered The V.P.'s office. Upon entering, the sight that greeted him was shocking. Reno came in as Rufus was punched by his father.
"You insolent brat!"
The president said punching Rufus square on the jaw, and then turned to see Reno who was looking on in total rage. Reno was trying his best not to run up there and rip his head off. Rufus just looked to the side not wanting Reno to see his frustrated tears; Rufus always had cockiness to him but it was all lost in one second.
Reno looked at the President trying his hardest to not show the anger, "Reno Libertine, reporting Sir," Reno said through gritted teeth, giving the President a salute.
"Libertine, you’d best forget what transpired here and fix this filth," the President said as he walked out of the office.
"Sir," Reno replied, at ease until he walked out and shut the door.
"Rufus are you-" Reno couldn't finish before Rufus told him to leave.
"Get out, dammit!" Rufus said pointing at the door. Reno walked over to his love, refusing to obey.
"I'm never leaving you. You made me promise, remember?" Reno said, pulling Rufus close in a warm embrace.
"I know" Rufus sighed, pushing his face in the Turk’s chest. "I love you," was all he could say.
"I love you too, Rufie", Reno said pulling him back and kissing him on the forehead, sitting him back down in his office chair.

Reno walked down the halls back to his apartment and walked in, finding Rude was already inside. "Yo, wazzup, Mr. Clean" Reno said, looking at his roomie. Reno told Tseng to give Rude a vacation after the battle with AVALANCHE. Reno always looked out for Rude from afar, knowing that someday Rude would return the favor. It’s what brothers would do.
"Reno, thanks for getting Tseng to give me vacation time," Rude said nodding as his thanks.
"No prob, Baldy. Any word on when the V.P.'s coming back from Costa del Sol?" Reno asked trying not to show his enthusiasm in his question.
"Nope, not a word," Rude said, opening a beer and sat down to watch a music video of 311's Amber. Reno walked over to the desk and went through their mail.
"Bill, bill, bill....nrrrr." Reno saw the letter addressed to him in handwriting. “Reno of the Turks", it read. Reno opened it fast. Rude turned his head to look at his friend opening the letter.
Rude had never seen Reno want to open mail that badly before unless it was a dirty smut magazine but that wasn’t even a letter to begin with. Rude got up and walked over to the redhead. "What is it?" Rude asked, looking curious.
"Privacy, please," Reno said, wandering off to his room. Sitting down on his bed, he unfolded the letter.
“Reno,
I miss you dearly; I wish you were here with me. Things are getting pretty rough trying to keep things together for the company office here in Costa del Sol. I thought you would like to hear from me. I heard Rude is on vacation; it must be pretty boring without him to talk to. Then again, he never says much, anyway. (I bet you can imagine my laughter) I hope you are doing well. I should be back in a week; my month long stay here has been fruitless, after all. I have been having thoughts of what I should do about the General, Sephiroth. I'm sure you heard that he went insane. If you have any good ideas tell me when I get back.
Love,
'Your Brat', Rufie”
Reno looked at the letter with a feeling of happiness in his heart as he jumped off the bed and walked into the living room with a smirk on his face. Rude looked at him over the fridge door.
"What's with you, perk?" Rude said knowing it would agitate him.
"Nothing," the redhead said, looking at his partner behind the door as he walked over and pushed him out of the way to get a beer.
"Aren’t you on call?" Rude said raising an eyebrow in his friend's general direction, pulling down his shades to look at him.
"Yeah, but I doubt anything will happen," Reno replied, opening the beer and sucking on the lip as he looked at his watch. 4 pm, Reno thought as he set down the bottle half empty after one huge swig.
"...." Rude just shook his head and sat down on the couch with another beer.

Rod walked down hallways and corridors until he got to Tseng's office and went in. "Sir," Rod said looking at his new boss.
"Nice to see you..." Tseng looked at his file for a name. "Rodney Libertine?" Tseng paused for a minuet "You have a brother?" Tseng asked looking puzzled.
"Yes, I do, but we were separated after our parents died when we were only five." Rod could only wonder why Tseng had asked him such a thing.
"Sorry, it's just that you have the same last name as one of my partners," Tseng told the rookie as he looked at his file. Tseng never said much when it came to personal information; he just looked on it and thought but he couldn't help but notice the resemblance between the two.
"Is his name Reno?" The short redhead asked in excitement. Rodni was Reno's twin; he had short red hair but the same unruliness his brother had.
"Yes it is," Tseng looked surprised and looked back up at the new Turk, tempted to pick up the phone and call Reno and tell him himself.
"Can I see him?" Rod asked, standing up, smiling like an idiot.
"If you want to go bother him yourself, he’s in apartment #256 on the 3rd level. Do you want me to notify him before you go up?" Tseng asked the noobie, picking up the phone, fingers ready to dial.

"Dammit, Rude," Reno growled, throwing the controller on the couch and pouted at his friend for beating him at Tekken 5. Reno had 4 beers and was trying to relax because he had to go with the President in the morning to Kalm for a board meeting with the Black Ops. Relaxed might have not necessarily been the word to choose at that point. Drunk would’ve worked.
"You just got thrashed," Rude said, grinning at the frustrated redhead on the couch. Their attention was drawn to a knock at the door. Reno got up and walked over to open the door, mumbling something about Rude under his breath.
"Hell-..." Reno stared at the figure at the door as though he had seen a ghost. Reno had remembered seeing him at the store three weeks ago but not up close. The Turk's memory flashed the scene of his brother being hauled away by the Shin-Ra police. He didn't say a word but just stared at his brother with eyes tearing up. Reno felt like he was looking in a mirror. His brother had the same marks on his face and the same expression. They just stared at each other.
"R.. Rodney" Reno broke the silent stare and looked at his brother in disbelief. "I...Rodney. You’re...." Reno couldn't hold back his tears any longer. He started crying as he hugged his brother tightly.
"Reno." Rodney hugged back, crying with him, "I thought you were dead." He struggled to get out before he pulled away and looked at Reno wiping away his tears with his sleeve.
"Me, too...Rod how did you find me? What happened to you? Where were you?" Reno asked the stream of questions, not pausing long enough for the answers.
*Plot twists are what make the world go round. I say that all the time. R&R and tell me if that was a good move or not. I appreciate your time to read some of my OFC fic. I'm trying to get Reno's attitude right so forgive me if he is a little emotional. Same goes for Rufus; like I said this is my first long fic ever so help me out here. ^^;*
