D'aww, Mint, I'm glad to kno that I've got you with me here! I'm actually in the process of reading a few of your stuff (which is awesome btw) and I'm happy that I've got someone that enjoys these little drabbles! I'm having fun picturing everything happening, and I look forward to pushing thru the rest of the month too ^^

Sometimes, Cid wasn’t sure that his lover was the same man years ago. One days like this one, with Vincent counting slowly and loudly, he couldn’t help but smile widely, propping his feet up on the picnic table in front of him.
“Thirty!” his lover called, uncovering his eyes and stalking towards the bushes. Cid watched in amusement as he paused before leaping over the shrubbery, excited squeals following. Two children raced out, laughing as Vincent gave chase, albeit slowly, letting them get safely to the tree that served as base.
The dark-haired man sighed dramatically, an almost pout on his face. He spun around, no doubt to find the other children. Cid knew that Vincent never wanted children of his own, not wanting to curse another being, but he was happy to visit the orphanage frequently.
If these little children could make his lover smile like that, Cid would gladly come back every day. He looked down as a small hand tugged on his jacket.
“You gonna pway with us, Unca Cid?” a boy no older than three asked, looking up at the pilot with shining green eyes and innocence that made Cid smile. “Yeah, squirt, whatever you want.”
What could be better?
