Cloud smiled at Vincent. "Hey, give it up! I won, fair and square!"
Wonder Square was packed with people, but Cloud and Vincent had managed to get in and play a few games. Cloud stood triumphantly in front of the Mog house.
"You're just jealous I made him fly faster." Cloud teased.
Vincent shook his head in mock despair. "Oh, dear, now the blond's conceited."
The blond in question smiled sweetly. "Vince, let's play another game!"
The gunman followed Cloud around the Square, playing as many different games as they could.
/He's really enjoying himself./ Vincent said.
/Yes he is./ Chaos retreated back to his own thoughts. he didn't want to talk to Valentine, not right now.
Cloud seemed as if in a happy stuporous state. He was excited about everything, from the games to the man in the chocobo suit to plain old walking. It made Vincent happy to see him like this, but worried him as well. Cloud was almost... out of it.
"Let's go to Chocobo square!" Cloud requested.
/Go on./ Chaos said dismissively.
Vincent led a very happy Cloud to the Chocobo Racing Square. Cloud didn't want to ride- He just wanted to visit the chocobos.
"Hey there." He spoke to one chocobo in the mini stables kept for racing birds. "How are you? Win any races lately?"
Vincent thought Cloud was maybe going a bit nuts, especially when the chocobo "wark!"ed and Cloud began to practically bounce with joy. When the bird was taken to race, Cloud promised to visit again.
As they walked through the chocobos, the grin on Cloud's face returned to normal. He smiled as they sat on a bench outside of the stables.
"I missed seeing them." Cloud said.
Vincent looked over at him. "You really like chocobos?"
"Well, ever since Zack..."
Vincent saw an instant change overcome Cloud. "Cloud?"
Cloud shook his head. "I'm...I'm sorry. I was...lost in memories."
Vincent shook his head. "It's alright. That's not always so wise, though."
Cloud laughed. "You should talk!" Then he frowned. "I shouldn't've said that. It was out of line. I apologise."
Vincent placed his hand on Cloud's knee. "It's alright. You speak the truth."
Cloud looked around. "We could..."
/Go on the Gondolas./ Chaos suggested.
Vincent wondered why Chaos would suggest anything, much less the Gondolas. "We could go on the Gondolas."
Cloud nodded. "I'd like that!"
The two were quickly on the ride. Cloud sat looking across from Vincent and stared out the window. He occasionally pointed with a "Look, Vin!"
All in all, Vincent was liking it.
Cloud...well, he was in state of drunk-on-life. There was no other way to put it. After being locked up with a psychotic demon for four days, he was out and about. Cloud was euphoric.
"Vin?"
Vincent looked over to see Cloud looked somewhat serious. "Yes, Cloud?"
"What... What does chaos want from me? And w-why me?"
/Shit./ Vincent swore. /Chaos, why do you want him?/
/I shall choose not to reply./
/Chaos! You owe him this much!/
/I owe him nothing, Valentine./
/You-/
/Are you going to argue with me?/
Vincent thought better of it and instead said to Cloud. "i don't know the answer to either of those questions, and Chaos... he doesn't want to talk right now."
Cloud nodded. "As I thought."
Cloud stood and walked to Vincent's side. "I don't want to have to hide myself because of him."
Vincent looked up at Cloud. "What do you mean?"
"I don't want to have to cower away from you because he is around."
"Cloud, I...I do want you." Vincent could barely believe he muttered that.
Cloud's lips met Vincent's gently. He sat beside him, kneeling on the seat. Vincent's head turned, following the kiss. Cloud's pink lips began to separate.
So, of course, Chaos had to fuck things up.
Vincent had no warning that chaos was taking over his body. Cloud didn't even notice. Chaos dominated Vincent's body, his own appearing.
Cloud noticed really fast when he was no longer kissing Vincent. "Oh, Gaia..." Cloud murmured miserably.
Chaos pushed him back along the bench, pushing him against the wall. "My little Cloud, was I not enough for you?"
Cloud struggled under Chaos's grasp. "Chaos...oh God no..."
Chaos firmly pressed his lips to Cloud's. Cloud's head pressed back against the wall.
When the kiss broke, Chaos leaned in and whispered in Cloud's ear.
"Soon I will be."

That one just came off the top of my head. I finished typing the last one and decided I needed to put more on, so this is the child of sudden thoughts. Hope you like!
