Chapter Nine: Just Let Me Die
It was around 9:05 am when the gang got the call to come to the Infirmary, Dr. Odine had the results. They all arrived, waiting in anticipation. Laguna finally couldn't stand it. "Well? What the hell does it say!?" Dr. Odine cleared his throat. "Well to begin. Squall was 40% ztronger than in the future. Well the zcan recorder didn't zhow anything, which I'm not too zuprized." He said.
Zell bounced up. "Just fucking tell us already!" He yelled and Dr. Odine continued. "I waz getting to it! Ah hem! The blood zample haz been able to tell uz. According to he'z now...uh. 85% ztronger then the Ultimecia you fought." Irvine closed his eyes, shaking his head in his hands. "Shit!" He exclaimed and Rinoa grabbed Cid. "We can't beat him! There's no way! We barley beat Ultimecia." She panicked and Selphie sighed. "Let's just blow the shit out of the castle. I don't give a fuck anymore." Selphie said, her voice and posture showing defeat.
Laguna grabbed and shook her. "God damn it! No one is going to hurt him! Doc what about some stronger containment device? Just you know long enough to help him somehow." Dr. Odine paused. "I really don't think there'z any right now that can hold him. But maybe we can try and make one. We can at leazt try." He said.
Xu and the others jumped when a SeeD rushed in, his face pure white. "Is something wrong Jason?" Cid asked and the guy nodded. "Uh, we found Noah. He was placed at the gates. He's in the parking lot for now, we didn't know what else to do." He coughed and Cid nodded. "I'll bring a stretcher and we'll bring him here for now." Dr. Kadowaski said, standing up. "I'll call the morgue and his family. We'll finish this later." Cid said.
About 20 minutes later a stretcher was rolled in, covered and Dr. Kadowaski shut the door. Cid was back from his call also. "His family is coming, as is the city morgue. When they get here we should leave them to thier buisness." He said and Dr. Kadowaski handed him a paper. "This was pinned in the boy's mouth. I bet it's from Squall." She said. Cid carefully opened the paper and read it to himself. "Squall says he knows what we're doing by sending those SeeD's after him. He also says that he still has the other girl and she's his slave now."
Cid looked up and Mila wiped her nose. "So Leatte is alive? We have to get her!" Irvine held her tight from running off. "We can't go in without a plan first." He said and she pushed him away then left. "What about Ellone? Do you think you could send his conscienceness to the past until we figure out how to make a strong chain, pendant or whatever?" Kiros asked and Ellone shrugged. "Maybe. It's possible." She said and Laguna sighed. "But we can't rely on that."
Zell threw his hands up in frustration. "Stop being so god damn negative! At least it's something! All you do is whine and bitch! So shut up or think of something better!" He yelled and Laguna drooped then sat in a chair. Cid stood up quickly when the boy's parents and morgue workers walked in. The group left Cid to be with the family and such.
Ellone sighed. "I need to use the bathroom." She said and made her way there and did her buisness. After washing her hands she left and got to the group when they heard a voice. "Look what we found." Squall stepped out with Seifer, who they noticed wasn't all there. "What did you do to him!?" Zell yelled, looking at the glazed expression of the Knight.
Squall tilted his head. "He wasn't copperating so I fixed the little bitch." He looked at their expressions. "I see you got my present. How did you like it?" He asked. Ward made a movement with his hands telling him to go fuck himself. "Don't piss me off fat ass." Squall growled at the bigger man then turned to Ellone. "Ellone...I'll give you the girl if you come get her."
Mila jerked at that. "Give us Leatte!" She yelled and Squall looked at her. "Hey it's you." He said. Angelo growled at him and Squall pointed at the dog. "Touch me doggie woggie and I'll turn you into glue." Angelo growled louder and jumped, biting Squall on the wrist. Rinoa yelled at he dog. "Angelo get away from him!" Angelo wouldn't let go and Squall brought out his gunblade with a grunt.
He kicked the dog and stabbed him in his side then pulled the trigger. Angelo's insides were blown out the other side, dying instantly and slumped. Squall pulled the blade out with a cluck of his tongue. "I told you bitch." He said and turned to the gang, Ellone cringing. "Ellone." He said again and Laguna stood in front of her. "You bastard! You killed Angelo!" Rinoa screamed and Squall tilted his head again. "Ahh. I killed your fuck buddy." Squall chuckled manically and turned his attention back on Ellone.
Laguna stared at his son defiantly. "She's not going with you." He said and Squall held his own bleeding wrist. "Seifer. They're being such selfish cunts." Squall said and in a lightning move ran over in a blur, backhanding Laguna into a wall. Laguna landed unconscience and Rinoa ran with her pinwheel ready to fire. Squall grabbed her arm and yanked it back, breaking the bone. Rinoa screamed and kicked him.
Squall yelled and let her go. He put his gunblade away and grabbed her jaw. With a jerk he twisted her head completely around in a 360 degrees. The snap echoed and Squall threw her across the hall. He quickly grabbed Ellone and threw her to Seifer who caught her. Squall shot out an energy blast, killing Xu and knocking the others out.
In the other room Cid made sure the people were safe and they flattened to the ground at the sound and shaking. Squall grabbed Seifer and teleported out leaving the group sprawled out. Squall was now able to teleport to the castle. They entered and Squall took Ellone, then released Seifer from the spell. The blonde stumbled and held his head. "What the hell!?" He said.
Squall patted his head as he held Ellone's wrist. "I'm sorry, but we had to get her." He said and Seifer stood wobbly. "So you made me do shit I didn't want to!?" He yelled and Squall traced his jaw. "I'll make it up to you." He said and Seifer moved away. "Don't do that to me again. If you do I'm going." Squall frowned and punched Ellone in response.
Seifer gasped and Squall grabbed his chin in a crushing grip, staring into his eyes. "Don't worry. I"ll just make my other servants do my will. Don't leave me. Ever." Seifer looked deeper into the deranged blue eyes. "Okay. You're hurting my face." He said and Squall let go, then kissed him. "I'll put her in her room. Why don't you feed that SeeD cunt." Squall spat and left dragging Ellone behind him. Seifer went to feed Leatte, his shoulders sagging.
Back at Garden the family and morgue guys left with the boy. The morgue was sent back for Rinoa and Xu right away. Cid healed who he could, the potions running low. Zell was finished puking and layed in a fetal position. "I can't believe he fucking did that! He just slaughtered them!" He said and Irvine watched the bodies of his friends were taken away, even Angelo.
Laguna grabbed Dr. Odine. "We need that chain or whatever soon. I want to get Ellone back." He said and Edea slapped him across the face. "Is that all you care about!? We need to stop Squall, so he won't kill anyone else. It's not all about your precious Ellone!" She turned around and walked away. Laguna rubbed his cheek and Cid cleared his throat.
"I think we should go to Esther. Dr. Odine's lab is there so he'll have all his tools and staff." He said and Dr. Odine nodded. "At my lab It'll take half the time to make the containment item." He said. "We leave as soon as everyone knows that Garden is closed. Everyone should pack some things." Cid said.
They shakily headed to get some things and Cid phones around the students in the dorms and they left for home until furthur notice. When everyone was rounded up they headed to the Ragnoark, where Selphie started it and they lifted off. Everyone sat and waited for Esther to come into view. They just hoped that Squall didn't kill anyone else in that time.
As they arrived and landed they blinked as it only seemed like seconds. They rode the lift to Dr. Odine's lab where he set to work right away on the containment item. The others helped all they could to make it strong enough.
