Chapter 9: One last moment


Zack was half sitting up on my bed, his back resting on the wall. "So you're the general now. Congrats."

I start to make Zoey's bed. "Thanks."

He hissed as he tried to move. "Did you miss me?" I wiped the tears that were now streaming down my face. "Yes I've missed you."

I didn't want to look at him, fearing that my resolution of being faithfull to Reno would crash. "Look at me, love."

I lift my head up and lock my gaze in his. "Please, don't look at me like that, I don't want to cheat."

I could see his heart break. "Who is it?"

I didn't answer and he started looking around for answers, the closet wasn't closed all the way and he saw the navy blue Turk uniform beside mine. "Reno... for how long?"

I bit my lower lip. "2 months but it's serious, I'm adopting Zoey."

He closed his eyes, silent tears dropping on my sheets. I couldn't resist and wrapped my arms around him. "Don't cry... please."

And he kissed me. My head started to spin and I wasn't able to push him away. "I love you so much, Cloud." his voice was husky but not for the same reason than earlier.

"I..." I can't say it, I can't betray Reno that way, even if I'm sure he is conviced I'm going to fuck with Zack. The SOLDIER's hand brushes my forearm making a shiver run down my back. His fingers raised slowly until they were brushing my cheek, wipping a tear away.

"I know what you think, Cloud... just a last time love, please. Nobody will know." Maybe but I will and I will fill bad in front of my new love.

"I'll know." His blue eyes meet mine. "When did you change?"

Did I change? "I don't know." He bents over me and stops when his lips were only a inch away from mine.

" Do you still love me? Honestly." The need in his eye stop me from lying to him.

"I still love you but I can't do this to Reno." He closes the space between our mouths and electrics shocks shook my body. I didn't remember how he could make me loose my mind. I pull away.

"I can't Zack. I'm really sorry." I start to cry, I turn around to make sure my former lover didn't see me cry my heart out. I feel his arms weakly wrap me.

"Let me kiss you once more and if you don't want nothing more I'll stop. I promise." I wipe my tears before giving my lips to him. I got blind, my mind filled with lustful memories.

"One time. Only." I find my self saying. "Say you love me again..." says Zack's sexy voice while pulling off my shirt.

"Let me lock the door." I get up and locked the door with the device that stopped the keypad form working in the hallway. I strip my pants and boxers before getting back to bed. He was only wearing a hospital boxer and I could see his arousal. I pulled off the worn fabric, seeing the body I've dream of until I found out Reno was the love I was waiting for.

I got the lubrifiant from my drawer and trew it on the floor by the bed. "Come here babe."

I froze, the nick name reminded me of my redhead Turk. 'I can't do this.' "Don't use that name or I'll stop."

He looks at me, finding this visibly odd. "You remind me of Sephiroth." He isn't the first to say that to me.

"Maybe taking the general job makes me take his ways." I lay down on the raven-head SOLDIER, pushing his legs appart with my knees. I bent over him to kiss him while my hand is trailing down to his naval, and stopping there.

He trusted his hips towards me and strong hands cluntched in my hair. I rumble on the floor to find the small tube I tossed earlier. I start to coat my fingers and slid one inside him.

"Mmmm get in..." I gently stroked myself to get the sticky liquid on my member. I know this wouldn't take long. I raise up to kiss him, entering slowly. He moans and I get in all the way.

"Move, Cloud" I start to move slowly, his breath fastens and it takes only a couple of trusts before he cries in pleasure. I move a little faster, getting to my limit as well. I collaspe on him and guilt fills me.

As much as I love him I know I had moved on. I kiss him one last time. A long, slow, gentle kiss that my brain records. After I give him his clothes and get in the shower.

The hot water pourring on me washes my tears away. I felt really bad. I felt like a traitor. I start to punch on the tiled wall.

My cell phone started to ring. I wrap in a towel and answer. "Strife."

A low, pained voice answers me. "Can I see you?"

Reno. Thank god. "Where are you honey?"

He sighs. "Did something happened?"

I bit my lip. "I don't want to talk about this on the phone. Meet me in your office. I love you."

He hangs up. I know he didn't like my answer but what could I answer? I put my uniform back on and get out of the bathroom.

"You can stay here tonigth Zack." He nods, smiling to me even if I could read he's heartbroken.

I knocked on Reno's office door. "Come in."

I openned the door and walked in the office. "Are you leaving me?" He asks looking at me with watery eyes.

"No I'm not." He bites his lip. "Did you..."

I can't tell him, I don't want to hurt him even if I already did. "It's over now Reno. I moved on. I want you and nothing else."

He runs in my arms and kisses me. "I love you babe."

Maybe I will do a sequel on Zoey's teenage years. I just have to think about a plot for it.
