Summary: (Post and through the game) Sephiroth the best soldier Shinra ever had starts something with the new unwilling specimen of Hojo the beautiful priestess Kikyou(yeah from Inuyasha and she’s alive)What happens between this two so different yet similar beings? Will love conquer all?

Crossover pairing: Sephiroth/Kikyou(Weird but still is a couple)

A/N: I don’t have nothing against Sephiroth with either Aeris/Tifa/Yuffie and Even with Sephiroth being with Cloud or Vincent, but I wanted to try something new and since Kikyou is my favorite character ever I decided to try this out…I hope you like it and reviews are welcome, but I do not wish flames for either the pairing or my obvious grammar problems(I’m French so try to bear that I’m not so good at English writing) well thanks for your understand….

‘One Winged Angels’
Chapter I:

Finally the last battle with Naraku was being held in that moment really they were having a real bad time with him, his body was complete. They were wounded and hurt but they were still fighting, Miroku was busy protecting Sango but she was able to protect herself very well but he was still there keeping the woman that promised to give him the family he craved save, Miroku was stopping one of Naraku’s demons while Sango was fighting with Kohaku that was still being controlled by Naraku.

Kouga was there to but he was unless without the shards on his legs and his arms so is not too good to mention, yeah he was fighting bravely to protect the woman that he loved but that rejected that love to be with a hanyous, but he was still there thinking that love really was a weird thing. He did a good work to kept the spawns away from the future traveling miko as she tried to retrieve the Shikon No Tama without succeeding.

Kagome, the future traveling miko, was also being protected by her mate, the man she has chose to love and spent the rest of her life with. Her arrows were trying to hit the ever elusive demon as he held the tainted Shikon No Tama in his right hand. Inuyasha kept the pawns away with his strong sword Tensaiga he used the powerful attack Kaze ni Kizu on them, everyone knew that Inuyasha could use the Vakuu Ryou Ha but if he did it the Jewel of the four souls will also disappear. Unexpectedly Naraku fooled the defenses over Kagome and went directly to attack her, it was to late for someone to help her at least that’s what they thought…and arrow full of spiritual energy hit the hand in which Naraku held the Jewel and the Shikon No Tama fell to the floor.

“Kikyou!?” Kagome gasped surprised to see the original protector of the jewel with her bow raised and her hair softly rustling with the wind “Arigato”

“Just take the jewel Kagome!!!” Kikyou ordered to the future miko “Take it and start to purifying it that way Naraku will lose the powers the tainted jewel gives him!!!”

“Ha..Hai Kikyou-sama” Kagome said and went to retrieve the jewel from the floor and she started to purify it.

“Stupid Bitch!!!” Naraku growled and his attention changed to attack the ex-guardian “YOU WILL PAY FOR THIS!!!”

“Really, Naraku!?” Kikyou slyly said to him “Come and get me”

Naraku dashed towards her at contrary of the future miko Kikyou could defend herself better but that didn’t stop the others to help her with Kikyou joining the battle and Kagome purifying the sacred jewel the battle was going a lot much better, they were taking control over Naraku and were about to easily defeat him. Finally Kagome purified the sacred jewel and Naraku lost his strength, but before he was defeated he dashed towards Kikyou wanting to kill her only her because it was her fault he was defeated he trapped her between a cliff overlooking the sea and him, before anyone could help her Naraku attacked her and tackled her down the cliff, it all seemed to be in slow motion at least for Kagome Higurashi, Kikyou unfortunately falling from the cliff her hair flying around her face and finally losing balance to fall to the endless deeps bellow.

‘Please Shikon No Tama, don’t let Kikyou die’ Kagome silently pleaded to the sacred jewel ‘Please let her live send her to a place where she can be happy and doesn’t remember nothing about this time and place’ the jewel started to emit a soft and warm glow ‘Please Shikon No Tama’

Kikyou fell to the cliff she couldn’t believe that low Naraku did this to her, finally her body crashed and splashed against the calm surface of the sea water, the water was so cold and her body felt sore and hurt to make things worse a storm started to well up, Kikyou cursed under her breath when a raindrop landed in her cheek, she looked up at the black sky an small shiver went down her spine at the thought of being trapped in a storm in the middle of the sea, she looked around to see land so she could return to…return to whom? From where she was? And How did she get to ocean? Did someone push her down the cliff and if that was who did it?

She cursed under her breath again when she didn’t see land around, the water started to softly come to life the wind started to speed up and the clouds were now empting them from all the water. The waves started slow at first but they hastly evolved in speed and height, Kikyou couldn’t do nothing it was obvious she will die there in the middle of the sea, the waves moved her around like if she was a drag doll she fought to keep herself out of the water, she really didn’t wanted to die there drown, the wind, the rain and the waves became stronger and finally she passed out.

Kikyou was now able to feel the soft caresses the sun rays were giving to her soft, paler and cold skin, she now could also feel the soft, warm and unsteady sand in which her body was resting, the sea breeze was softly caressing her skin and feeling her senses the seagulls chirping could be heard at the distance, the fresh and clear sea water was soaking and splashing in her body, but she still felt hurt and sore plus she had such a bad headache. She slowly opened her eyes and blinked twice due to the light, when her sight cleared she saw that she was in a beach and she also saw a little girl with chocolate shoulder hair and brown eyes looking down at her that was the last thing she saw before she passed out again.

Kikyou finished brushing her hair and straightened her miko robes, she left everything in their respective and rightful order before she left the little house and went to start a new day. Four months had passed by flying since she get to the shore to the beach near a city called Wutai, she was unconscious for a week and when she waked up the people treated her kindly and they thought her a lot of stuff, they taught her about materia and they also taught her to speak English and they also understood the fact that she didn’t remembered nothing more than her name.

Apparently Wutai had just recenendeended a long years war, a lot of persons died, others were wounded or sick and they medicines were running out slowly and to that add that since the town was unprotected fiends easily entered to the town. But some of Kikyou’s knowledge as a priestess still remained in her just like her spiritual power, as a retribution for their kindness Kikyou used her knowledge in medical herbs to take care of the wounded and the sick healing them she also thought her knowledge in the herbs and with the help of her spiritual power Kikyou protected the town with a barrier that kept the fiends away from the town.

They were so thankful to the mysterious woman that they told her that she could stay there to live forever offer Kikyou graciously accepted because she didn’t had nowhere to go and she really didn’t wanted to leave all of them specially the children, she had grown so fond of them and the children seemed to have grown of her too. Really Kikyou didn’t had any complaining to do she was happy there and the people treated her so nicely and they had practically adopted her as their priestess, she was really happy there.

She made her way trough the town in that sunny and bright day, she really liked those kind of days it reminded her of some fond and well hidden memories that made her happy even though she couldn’t remember them, she stopped when she felt some smand and light steps behind her finally a girl with chocolate shoulder length hair, soft and hyperactive brown orbs and white skin was now in front of her, the little girl was wearing a soft green kimono(I Guess that kind of clothes they wear) a big and cheerful smile was painted in her face and she had her hands behind her back.. Maybe from all the children in Wutai she was the little girl that founded her in laying in the beach shore.

“Hi Kikyou” the girl happily said to the woman.

“Hi Yuffie” Kikyou warmly and softly smiled down to the ten year old girl “You seem really happy, what happened?”

“Is just that I found this” Yuffie held out her hands to reveal a bright green colored materia “Isn’t pretty?”

“Yes it is” Kikyou looked at the bright materia in the girl hands “What kind of magic does it has?”

“My father said it was fire but I’m not sure” Yuffie replied with a pout and looked at Kikyou “Maybe you might know?”

“Ok let’s see” Kikyou took the materia and started to feel the serene and soothing power “You’re right this is not a fire materia this is a…how did you call it…a restore materia”

“Oh…really” Yuffie’s sparkled in emotion as Kikyou handed her back the materia “Maybe I can use it for the wounded?”

“Yes you could do that Yuffie” Kikyou agreed and knelt down to be at Yuffie’s face level “You will heal the physical wounds but there are some wounds that cannot be healed with magic…they can only be healed by time”

“Umm…what kind of wounds are that?” Yuffie curiously asked

“Well those are the wounds you get in your heart and soul” Kikyou answered to the little girl “Those wounds need time and some need a lot of time”

Yuffie looked down at the floor “You mean like the wound I had when my mother died in the war”

“Yeah, those ones” Kikyou softly said and looked at Yuffie “Or the ones I have for not being able to remember my past or even if I had a family”

“But you know I’m kind of healed of that wound” Yuffie said and looked at Kikyou “You helped me to do it…you’re kind of like my mother at least I consider you as such”
“Thank you, Yuffie” Kikyou happily and brightly smiled to her “You’re kind of a daughter to me too Yuffie”

“Umm…ohh” Yuffie half blushed when Kikyou said that to her “Thank you too Kikyou”

“Okay” Kikyou said and stood up and took Yuffie’s hand “Let’s go pick some medical herbs”

“Okay” Yuffie said as she saved the materia.

In fact it was really weird that a forest would be able to grow there but it did, how? Neither she knew the reason but that didn’t matter the only important thing was that in that forest grew the medical herbs she needed. Kikyou and Yuffie were peacefully looking for any good herbs they could use for the people back in Wutai, both girls were oblivious to the eyes that were currently looking at them. Finally when the two girls were about the leave five mans dressed in blue and two with dark suits stood in front of them, Yuffie immediately got sacred when she recognized the Shinra soldiers and the Turks, apparently Kikyou sensed this.

“Can you please stand aside so we can pass?” Kikyou politely asked

“We have business with a woman named Kikyou” One of the man in the black suit said.

“What kind of business you have with me?” Kikyou coldly said to them as Yuffie went behind her “I’m sure I don’t know you”

“Those mans are from Shinra” Yuffie’s low voice said “Don’t get close to them”

“Shinra?” Kikyou voice softly echo “You mean they are…” Kikyou didn’t finished her question when Yuffie was already nodding “Then I not have any business with you!!!”

“Maybe not you but Shinra does have business with you” the Turk said “They ordered us to take the mysterious that have amazing powers without employing any materia”

“No!!!” Yuffie screamed “You want to take her to Shinra so you could experiment on her”

“Really that brat iarinarin pis piss me off” He raised a gun at Yuffie an then looked at Kikyou “You better come with us or the child and the other persons in Wutai will pay the consequences”

“What do you mean?” Kikyou softly asked them.

“If you don’t come with us I will kill that little girl behind you” He snickered and looked at the girl “And we will destroy Wutai…no one will miss that place anyway”

“Fine I’ll go with you” Kikyou said she could feel Yuffie’s little hands clutching to her red hakama “But let the girl go and don’t even try to get to Wutai”

“Fine…but come with us now” The Turk agreed

“No!!!” Yuffie clutched tighter to her “Don’t leave please!!!”

“Please Yuffie I must do this…I really don’t want to leave you but I must if I don’t do it…I really don’t want to think about it” Kikyou reluctantly made the girl let her go “Now go Yuffie”

“I promise I will find a way to save you” Yuffie said crying

“Thank you” Kikyou softly said and hugged the little girl “Kimi he”

Kikyou stood up and walked to them she really didn’t wanted to leave but their threat seemed to real and it was obvious they wouldn’t hesitate to do it and she couldn’t let so many people perish for her stubbornness, now she didn’t knew what kind of stuff and ordeals awaited for her there but whatever it was something in her heart told her it will be horrible. Now she was leaving behind the peaceful life she has known for Four months…but she couldn’t do nothing to stop it.

Well tell me what you think about it…I know is a real weird couple and maybe some people outside there don’t like Kikyou but I do plus this was a challenge and I couldn’t let a challenge slip away from my hands…oww I really like challenges…
