A/N: Final part of the arc beginning with “Behind These Hazel Eyes” (and despite a certain reviewer’s comment, I think that Seifer’s eyes are hazel) and “Everything You Want.” I’ve considered this to be Seifer and Squall’s theme for a while and I’m finally getting to use it in a fic. Whee for me. Oh, sap and very mild violence (slapping) warnings apply.

You’re an idiot, Squall. Should’ve been able to tell that I can’t fucking live without you even though I promised that I’d never hurt myself. It feels wrong to wake up alone and it hurts to jack off thinking of you because I’m not sure if you’re ever gonna come back from that trip to Esthar to be with me again.
We’ve always been a pair, two halves of the same whole and I can’t believe it took me so long to realize it that I almost let you stay with Rinoa. She could never give you what you want and need ‘cause she ain’t me. Bet you don’t know that if you ever died, I’d probably join you shortly after.

Without even thinking, I grab you and hug you tightly, chuckling as you kick the door shut. Debating just telling you what I fell, but I bite my tongue at first and glare. Even though you’re back now, I’m still pissed at you for taking off like that in the first place.
“I’m sorry,” you whisper. I blink and arch a brow. The Ice Princess – apologizing? Never thought that would happen. Even more surprised when you look right up into my eyes and say, with no hesitation, “I love you.”

Before I can completely make sense of those words, I slap you and then chuckle a bit. “Would’ve been nice to hear that before you made me think I fucked up somehow and that this was all over. Scared the shit outta me, Squall.”
You nod, touching the red mark on your cheek. “That’s why I apologized. I didn’t mean to hurt you; I just needed to think about what I felt.” Typical Squall, thinking too damn much about emotions. But at least I know that my feelings are returned.

Nah, I just slapped you because I dunno how else to tell you that I’m damned frustrated by the fact that you fucking walked out and left me for four Hynedamned days just because you couldn’t think of what you felt for me.
