Set when they are all students. Reno's background is a violent/poor one. Rufus is not known to be ShinRa's son and they are all in different classes at college (not underage). This is set one lunch time and loosely based on a real life detention that we saw for a school suspension report.

"I see so how soon can this be resolved?" The President said listening to the headmaster on the report. "I will be there within the hour."

Lunchtime, Midgar prefecture

"Hey Vincent." Reno popped his head out from the bike sheds behind the school playing grounds. He waved the long haired student over with a grin. Vincent noted it hardly took a genius to figure out he was sneaking a cigarette again. "We've had this fucking great idea for a dare you wanna join us?"

The last ten minutes of lunch - Midgar Prefecture Boy's toilets

"Yo Rufus." Reno stepped into the toilets. Tseng and Rude were outside keeping him company and Vincent had wandered a little further down the hall. This was never going to work. This could well get someone expelled.

"I'm sorry do I know you?" He looked at the red head with a little disdain. He was loud mouthed, dirty and never could pronounce a sentence correctly.

"I dunno." Reno moved to learn on the wall and shoved his hands in to his pocket. "My names Reno, some call me Ren, some just call me what the hell they like."

"Reno it is then. What do you want?" Rufus looked at him and Reno caught his eye. The kid was almost too naïve for words. Perfect.

"I..." Reno looked down at the floor and then back to his face. "You're pretty wealthy I guess. I mean you turn up in a new uniform kinda often. You don't seem to have the problems with keeping your uniform from being used as a rag an' all." Reno brushed some of his messy hair from his face. "I wondered if you would be able to help me out a little."

Tseng nodded. The plan was working so far. Rude gave him a lift to the window above the door after Vincent nodded it was clear.

"I am not a charity governor Reno." Rufus told him and looked at him.

"I know that." Reno smiled and moved a little closer. "I was thinking maybe I could earn that money?" The look of surprise nearly caused a giggle as Tseng pressed the button on the camera phone. Reno moved a little closer again. "See I wondered if maybe I could earn me some money off you."

"Why don't you apply to go to the General Affairs Department? My father would find a use for you all. None of you are stupid." Rufus complimented. "One day I will be president. Stick on my side over his as time goes on and I'll make sure you are better rewarded."

"You gonna make me do that again?" Reno said looking at him.

"No." Rufus told him before leaning forward and handing him a tissue to clean more of the spunk of his jacket. "Unless you want to."
