NOTE: There are always a number of complicated hoops to jump through whenever someone wants to write a selfcest fic. There are ways, of course, but the suspension of disbelief can be such a fragile thing. And while I kind of like the set-up here, I'm not sure if it really works as an introduction to the incesturbation. I guess I'll just let you be the judge of that.

She didn't notice the falling snow, or the heavy tread of her walker. She didn't notice the others marching right behind her in walkers of her own. She didn't notice the mountains near the horizon and didn't the faint lights of a town coming into view. She didn't notice anything. The slave crown would not allow it.

... ser...

She almost frowned. Was that a whisper on the wind? But how co-

The slave crown stopped the unfolding thought and she marched on, her face going blank once more.

... feel it?

Yes. A whisper. No, not a whisper, but a voice she couldn't hear. How could th-

The town came nearer still and individual buildings could almost be made out. Not that she noticed them.

Terra.

She blinked.

There was no town in the distance, no falling snow. There was no ground either. Her walker was gone, as were... her... companions?

There had been others with her, right? She couldn't really recall them, but she got the distinct impression she hadn't been alone. They'd... talked. Hadn't they? Something about... Something about...

"Here you are then."

She turned around. Floating quietly in the darkness was a... being. It was the only way to describe it, really. It was, that is, it looked female. It was slender and pale, nearly white, but with a hint of pink. Its eyes glittered like red rubies and its hair was an unkempt mess that fell down her back.

"Where am I?" she asked.

"That's a difficult question," the being replied. "Inside our mind, I think."

"Our?"

The being nodded and floated towards her, around her. "I am... you. Part of you. The part they can't touch."

"They?" she asked. "What are you talking about?"

The being floated in front of her and touched her forehead with a pale finger. "What's missing here?"

"What do you mean?"

The being smiled. "Never mind. I'm an Esper, and I can't be controlled by something designed to control humans."

"But I'm human," she said.

"Yes," said the being.

"I'm being controlled?" she asked.

"Yes. But something's approaching. Or maybe we're getting closer to something. Can't you sense it?"

"No."

"No. No, of course not," said the Esper. "We can sense it, but you cannot."

"I don't understand."

"Neither do I. I've been... so weak."

"I'm sorry," she said.

"For what? We weren't even aware of me." The Esper paused briefly and then laughed. "Isn't that a strange thing to say?"

"Who am I?" she asked.

"What?" the Esper asked. "Oh... I..."

"We do have a name, don't we?" she asked. "Everyone has a name."

"Terra," said the Esper. "I'm... almost certain."

"Terra," she repeated. It sounded about right. "So I guess that's-"

A thousand needles of ice slid into Terra's brain, incinerating her bones. She fell to her knees clutching her head. She only vaguely noticed her Esper self kneeling down next to her and pulling her into an embrace.

"It's the slave crown," the pale being whispered. "It's forcing us to do something."

Terra blinked rapidly, trying to will the pain away. "What would... cause this..."

"Don't think about it," the Esper whispered, stroking her hair. "It'll be over soon in any case."

"Help... me..."

The ice lodged in her head melted and the baleful fire turning bones into ash was extinguished by a flow of warmth filling her body. It was only when the worst of the pain faded that Terra realised the source of this comfort were her Esper self's lips softly touching her forehead.

Terra looked up into her own eyes, even though they were entirely different right now. There was... something there, it seemed.

Without really knowing why, without even truly realising that she did it, Terra moved closer, and so did Terra. Somewhere halfway, their lips met.

What little that remained of the slave crown's pain evaporated as the Esper kissed her. Terra didn't know why and didn't care. Perhaps later she would care. Then again, perhaps not. Right now, all that really mattered was the deceptive softness of her other self's lips.

As the Esper kissed her and she kissed the Esper, Terra became acutely aware of a hand resting on her bare arm. Part of her seemed to remember that she had been wearing clothes at some point. She couldn't say for sure, but she had a feeling she hadn't been naked all the time. Had she?

The Esper moved in front of Terra without ever breaking their kiss and all lingering questions fled Terra's mind as the being wrapped her in her embrace. The Esper felt surprisingly human for someone with a pale pink skin. Terra wouldn't be surprised if her own skin felt identical to her.

The Esper pulled away and smiled, her teeth glittering in light that wasn't there. She kissed Terra on the lips once more, lightly and briefly, before moving down her naked body. Terra hissed softly when the Esper kissed her breasts, feeling her warm body beginning to smoulder with arousal. The Esper rained kisses on her breasts, Terra's lust growing with every affectionate little peck. With the Esper's lips caressing every inch of her curves, Terra hardly noticed the being's hand gliding further down her body until it slipped between her legs.

Terra moaned helplessly under the Esper's tongue circling one of her nipples and the being's fingers exploring her folds. She once again felt a fire spreading through her body, but this time it was one of pleasure rather than pain. She screamed once when she felt two of her other self's fingers gently push into her. Her body almost instantly closed around the Esper, but the being still slid in and out of her with relative ease, sending a wave of beautifully searing pleasure through her with each little thrust.

The Esper's lips pulled away from Terra's breasts and, smiling, she put her free hand on the girl's shoulder and gently pushed her down onto her back. She moved so that she was now kneeling next to Terra's naked body, never allowing her fingers to leave her. The red of her eyes became darker and darker as the sight of Terra's obvious arousal and shivering pleasure no doubt fueled her own lust.

Breathing heavily, struggling to regain some control over her writhing body, Terra reached up and put her hand on the Esper's arm. Even though they were both the same, in a way they weren't and Terra felt the need to express how she felt about her pale self, even if she couldn't put it into words. The Esper merely smiled without pausing in her movements and Terra wondered if she got the message.

The Esper moved until she was kneeling between Terra's legs. She slowly withdrew her fingers from her and held them up in front of her red eyes. They shone with Terra's fluids. She rubbed them briefly with her thumb, then brought them to her mouth, where her tongue poked out and flicked them. Then she smiled again with a promise that made Terra shiver.

Terra watched the Esper breathlessly as lowered her head. She knew what the being was going to do, yet the feeling of those lips kissing her wetness still caught her by surprise. She bucked and screamed when the pleasure crashed through her. Screams turned to moans as Terra's body slowly adjusted to the Esper's licking and kissing, yet she couldn't regain complete control. She writhed on the tip of the Esper's tongue, dancing to the tune of her other self's erotic attention. Somewhere underneath the symphony of lust, Terra was vaguely aware of the Esper dipping into her and caressing her walls, or of her lips closing delicately around her clit. But all those individual sensations were lost in the crescendo of pleasure that propelled Terra to her eventual climax.

As Terra moaned in ecstacy, the Esper kissed her higher and higher across her writhing body, from her stomach, briefly dipping her tongue into her bellybutton, up to her chest, her breast, then to her face where she waited until Terra opened her eyes again. Terra reached up to caress the being's cheek, then leaned up to kiss her. Her own juices were still on her other self's lips, but she didn't care. As she kissed her, she felt the Esper's body move shortly before she felt a wet heat pressing against her upper leg. The Esper broke their kiss so she could look at Terra's face with lust-darkened eyes.

Terra watched the Esper grind herself against her, not knowing what to do. Even though there was a strange delight in feeling her other self rubbing against her or listen to the pale being pleasure-filled moans, she felt useless. Figuring that anything was better than nothing, Terra reached up and caressed the Esper's breasts. The Esper smiled and breathed out in what might have been a laugh. The being smiled and closed her eyes, moaning softly.

Terra caressed and squeezed the Esper's breasts, feeling her body shiver even underneath her moving on her own body. She let her hands wander up until her thumbs and forefingers brushed against the Esper's nipples. The Esper bit her lip, seemed to grind down harder on Terra's leg, as she girl started moving in circles. Terra risked squeezing ever so slightly. The Esper's breasts left Terra's hand as the being suddenly leaned back, groaning. Undulating on Terra's leg with ever more obvious pleasure, the Esper opened her red eyes and fixed Terra with her stare. Her mouth opened as though she was about to say something, but she was thrown back, her pale body bucking on the tide of her orgasm.

At which point, the universe went blue.

And then black.

-----

Light.

The girl opened her eyes. She thought she saw a white blob above her. Or probably above her. Eventually the blur faded into a perfectly ordinary ceiling. She noticed she was lying in a bed she didn't recognise in a room she didn't recognise.

She wasn't feeling very well. It was as if someone had lodged a hundred needles of ice into her brain. She faintly felt as though there was something she ought to be remembering somehow. Something... important, perhaps? If only she could think clearly.

Where was she?

The door to the room opened and she saw an old man she didn't recognise enter. He watched her with concern, but kept his distance. Perhaps he could explain things to her.

The girl threw off the covers and got out of bed, ready to go and see whatever would happen next.
