Night Chaos
“Vincent!” I screamed as I ran through Sector 7. The soft soles of my shoes thumped loudly as I rushed through various alleys. My short-clad legs and small-sleeved shirt caused goosebumps to surface on my skin in the chilly March air. My short-bob haircut, held back by a dark green band, barely covered my frozen ears.
I shivered as I paused in front of an alley entrance. I puffed out my cheeks in frustration and screamed louder, “Vincent Valentine, if you don’t show yourself, I’ll kill you!”
The wind picked up speed and rustled my hair again. I gripped the shuriken in my hand and squinted my eyes to try and see down the alley. A large growl rippled through the sky and I turned towards the noise.
“Vincent! We need your help!” I yelled out. After more silence, I cursed to herself, “Goddamn it. Just when we need you the most…” I started running through the streets again, dodging obstructions as I made my way to the center of Sector 7.
The party was visiting Marlene in Sector 5 at the old bar when an announcement interrupted every channel on the television. There had been several reports of a rampaging monster ripping through the Slums of Sector 7. The party gathered itself after hearing about the news and met up. All but Vincent Valentine, who disappeared mysteriously right before the attack. Cid was supposed to be bunked up with the strange man, but he hadn’t seen Vincent since they had dinner that night.
It was now 10:30; an hour after the monster started attacking. It had injured several people through the course of the hour, destroyed many homes and buildings, and was now working its way to killing all the people who lived in the Slums.
I stopped to catch her breath. “Damn. Why did Cloud have to tell me to go find that stupid, ignorant, strange, ugly, weird Vincent? I can’t even run properly, but oh no! Apparently I was the right one to look for Vincent.” I let out a puff of air and leaned against the closest building. Another roar from the monster jarred me out of my thoughts, and I ran towards the sound.
As I reached the Slums, Cid Highwind jumped from the top of one of the buildings and landed within feet of me. I let out a scream and backed up ten feet before realizing who it was.
“Damn it! Don’t scare me like that, old man!” I accused, narrowing my eyes at the short-blonde man. He grinned, cigarette hanging on his lip.
“It’s about time you showed up. Where’s Vince?”
“Vince?” I raised an eyebrow. “Oh. I couldn’t find him.”
Cid gave me a blank stare for a moment. He then scowled, “Yuffie! You $%*ing, incompetent, little…” he stopped himself, and then flung out his arms, “if you couldn’t find him in this dump, then obviously you weren’t looking very hard!”
“I looked everywhere! Ground to sky! He was no where to be found!”
“Then call him on the PHS!”
“I tried that, old man! He didn’t answer! He never does!”
Cid gritted his teeth. Another animal roar made me tighten the grip on my shuriken. “Damn it, Yuffie.”
I let out a grunt.
“Where the hell could he be?” Cid shook his head. “Forget it, we can’t worry about him. We have to go help Cloud.”
Cid and I raced through the Slums to where he last saw the monster. We weaved through alleys and debris from fallen buildings. As we neared our destination, I saw Tifa fly through the air into a cement wall. As her head slunk to the side, I knew she had been knocked unconscious.
“How the hell-?” Cid cursed again and jumped over a discarded tire. I followed him into the clearing where the party and the monster were.
The beast stood on top of a pile of debris. Thick, black wings were lined with blood red skin. Long, rigid horns were on top of its head and frighteningly sharp teeth glimmered in the moonlight. Rippling muscles lined the erect body as it stood before my party members.
Cloud and Barret had their weapons armed and ready. They stood in front of the beast. Red XIII stood off to the side, and Cait Sith was on the other side of the monster, parallel with Red.
Cid ran to Tifa and helped her to her feet. I tightened my grip on my weapon and when Cloud caught my gaze, he nodded. I knew what he meant, so I flung my arm back. Before I could throw my weapon at the monster, it pushed itself off the pile of debris and flew into the air.
“Barret!” Cloud yelled. The gunman lifted his arm and started shooting the monster. I tossed my weapon at the monster anyways and ran to Cloud.
“Yuffie, what took you so long?” He scowled. “Where’s Vincent?”
“I couldn’t find him!” I frowned at the spiky-blonde boy. He glared and left my side to run to Tifa.
“Yuffie, did you find him?” Red XIII asked me. I turned back to the lion and shook my head.
“No, and I looked everywhere.” Again, I shook my head. “Why is it taking so long to beat this monster?”
“He seems to have superhuman strength.” Red chuckled to himself. “Well, I guess I can’t say that because it’s not really human.”
Before I could reply to Red, my shuriken darted out of the sky and smashed to the ground. I ran to it and picked it up again. As I started to stand, Barret yelled, “Heads up, kid!”
I looked up to see the beast flying straight at me. I screamed and feigned to the side before it could slam into me. It flew right into Red XIII and lifted him off the ground.
“Red!” Most of my party screamed. We all watched helplessly as Red, squirming, was dragged through the air by his tail. When the monster got far enough above ground, he dropped the lion.
Red XIII’s howls pierced through the silence and he fell with a distinct crack onto the pavement. The beast dove down to aim for me again.
Cid tackled me to the ground before the monster came too close. He twisted us in mid-air so I landed on top of the old man. He let out a grunt as we landed and the beast swooshed through the air above us.
“Cid,” I scowled, “I don’t need protecting!” He didn’t respond, so I squirmed out of his grip to see the man with his eyes shut. I shook him slowly. The only movement he made was the cigarette falling from his mouth. He had been knocked unconscious.
“Damn it!” Barret cursed. “Where the hell is Vincent at a time like this?” He fired a few more rounds of bullets at the monster, which only agitated it further. It swooped down, grabbed Barret by his good arm, and flung him at the wall.
“Barret!” I yelled and rushed to him. He slumped over and rubbed his head.
“God *#%&ing damn it!” Barret gritted his teeth. “How the hell are we supposed to beat this thing?”
I crouched over beside the gunman and watched as blood trickled down the side of his neck. Concerned, I took the hairband off my head and carefully placed it on Barret’s. He didn’t seem to notice though, because he had blacked out right after. The band protected the small wound on his skull and prevented it from bleeding any further.
“Yuffie!” Cloud shouted at me. I glanced over and saw him in front of Tifa. “I need you to get onto that monster’s back! Get him out of the sky and on to the ground!”
“Right!” I agreed quickly, and then realized what he was asking of me. “Wait, what? You want me to jump on that thing?” I asked, waving my hand at the beast.
“It seems to be targeting you.”
I opened my mouth to argue more, but the beast swooped down again and grabbed a large chunk of debris. It flew up again and tossed the object at Cait Sith. Not being a good runner, Cait let out a scream before being slammed to the ground by the hundred-pound chunk of cement.
I gawked at the fallen comrade, and then rushed to the large pile in the middle of the clearing. I stood at the top and waved at the monster. “Hey you! Yeah, you! Big, ugly, scaly, gross, disgusting, putrid monster! Come and get me!”
The beast let out a large growl. Instead of coming at me, like I thought it would, it dove straight for Cloud. Not expecting it to come at him, Cloud could only drop his jaw in surprise before the beast grasped one of Cloud’s arms in its feet and ripped him away from the ground.
Cloud let out a manly yell and started swinging his sword at the monster. It only took him higher into the sky, far enough that I couldn’t see them through the darkness.
“Cloud!” I screamed out for him.
“Summon Bahamut!” I heard a faded reply from the depths above me.
“Baha-?” I furrowed my brows. “But I don’t have Bahamut!” I yelled again.
There was a flash of light above me, and then I saw Cloud’s spiky hair coming at me a mile a second. My eyes flew even wider. I jumped off the pile of debris a split-second before Cloud crashed into it. The building parts flew everywhere but I luckily got away from all the big pieces.
Silence followed. With a lump in my throat, I looked at my surroundings.
Tifa was slumped against the wall. Barret was also sitting down unconscious. Cid lay feet away from me, now covered in remains. Red XIII and Cait Sith were sprawled out on the ground behind the remains of the pile. I saw two legs and an arm in the middle of the pile, with the purple fabric shredded to bits. Cloud had landed harshly.
I swallowed the ever-growing lump, realizing that I was the only one left standing.
The monster came into view, flapping its wings above the clearing. It was staring at me, an evil glimmer in its eyes.
I started backing up slowly, but the beast caught my actions and swooshed towards me. I let out a blood-curdling scream and turned to run, but the monster gripped my two shoulders and slammed me into the wall behind me.
I let out another scream as my back made contact with the wall. My eyes squeezed closed and I waited for my end to come.
After a moment or two of only hearing heavy breathing, I pried my lids open.
The feral face on the monster was staring at me. It let out more puffs of breath through its mouth and then closed it, hiding the razor-sharp teeth. I saw its nostrils flare as it took in air. I looked up at its eyes and winced. Crimson red irises looked back at me. They appeared almost human, and that’s when the realization hit.
“Vincent.” I whispered.
It grunted, claws digging deeper into my flesh. I let out a whimper, daring not to move.
“Vincent… it’s me, Yuffie.” I choked out. “Please, don’t hurt me.” The claws pierced through my skin and again, and I let out an involuntary gasp. The monster started to growl. Shaking in fright, I dropped my weapon to the ground. It let out a clank that echoed through the clearing.
“Vincent, please… L-let me go.” I tried. “Y-you can control this. You c-can change back, Vinny. You just n-need to try.”
The monster’s nostrils flared as the scent of my blood reached it. Its jaw opened and it let out a few ragged breaths. I watched as its eyes darted to the streaks of blood falling down my arms. It growled again, as if fighting itself, and then lifted me up. I squeaked loudly.
The monster twisted around and flung me towards Cloud, towards the pile of debris. I hit it with a thump and the breath left my lungs. The monster let out several howls, grunts, and growls and all I could do was watch.
It slashed itself. It gripped the wings on its back and fought to rip them off. Its hands met its face for a few seconds, and then the beast let out one last howl before advancing on me.
Unable to move well, I stumbled to my feet but didn’t get far before the beast grabbed the back of my shirt and tore it open. I lost my footing and fell to my knees, the shreds of my shirt landing on the ground. I whimpered when I realized how stupid it was that I didn’t wear a bra.
The monster gripped my good foot and pulled. I screeched and slammed to the ground on my stomach. It grasped my arm and flipped me to my back. With an uncontrolled hand, it tore off my shorts and flung them several feet away. It growled at my lace panties and with a claw, cut the fabric on the sides.
Tears formed in my eyes when I saw I was completely exposed.
The beast grabbed my shoulders again and lifted me up. It splayed out its wings, as if to fly, but only took me to the closest wall before slamming me down against it again.
It sniffed the blood on my arms again. I watched as a slimy pink tongue fell out of its mouth and tentatively licked the red liquid from the wounds. I froze, letting out a loud whimper. It started to lower its head.
Before its chin could reach my bellybutton, I started sliding with it. It grunted with frustration again, realizing how short its arms were. It stood up again and glanced at the belt on my shorts. It left my side to walk over and pick it up.
I bolted before thinking about where I was going. As soon as the monster turned its back, I ran into the clearing, stark naked. Gripping my breasts, I ran past the debris pile where Cloud lay and made it halfway to the alley before being tackled roughly to the ground. The air left my lungs for the second time.
The beast howled in accomplishment. It grasped my two hands and wrapped the belt around my wrists. When it tightened it to the point of cutting off the blood flow, it hefted me up and took me to the wall again.
It turned me around and my back met the wall for the third time. The beast grabbed my wrists, reached up, and hooked my hands around a piece of wire sticking out. It let go so I could hang freely on the wall.
“Vincent!” I whimpered again. “Please, whatever you’re doing… stop, please.”
The beasts’ eyes met mine again. I saw them swimming with confusion and then the monster snarled again.
“Vincent!” I shouted louder. With all the strength I could muster, I yelled out, “Vincent Valentine, if you do anything, I’ll kill you!”
The beast snarled louder and it gripped its head in its hands. I saw all its muscles twitch and it let out an ungodly roar before gashing my stomach with a claw. I screamed in pain, writhing against the wall and my bonds.
Tears fell freely down my cheeks as the monster leaned down and brushed its slimy tongue across the wound. I squirmed, bucking my hips forward to try and hit the beast’s head. It growled and forcefully pushed my hips back into the wall. As it continued to lick the blood from the wound, I cried out.
Goosebumps formed on my skin when another gust of wind picked up. The beast inhaled sharply, glancing down at the mound of brown hair between my legs. It sniffed the area gingerly, growling dominance when the smell overtook him. I squeezed my legs together as tightly as I could, but the monster forced them apart and one of his sharp nails entered me.
I gasped and screamed out when the nail intruded. I writhed and bucked more, then screamed, “Vincent, stop it! Please!”
The beast growled again. It pushed another nail in and was quickly followed by a third. I moaned involuntarily and squirmed more, placing both feet on the wall to pull away from it. The monster snarled and scraped at my legs with his free hand. It then placed it on my belly to stop me from moving.
Its head joined his hand. I could hear it sniffing, felt its hot breath on my bared skin, winced as the nails inside me shuffled around. I reluctantly looked down and saw its slimy tongue snake out of his mouth. It brushed against my labia. I screamed.
Its tongue intruded deeper when the nails pulled out of me. It brushed against my clitoris and found the entrance to my heat. The beast growled fiercely. It gripped my legs and wrapped them around its head, then dug its tongue into me.
I couldn’t stop screaming. “V-Vincent! C-control yourself! You don’t k-know what you’re doing!” The monster snorted. Its tongue unburied itself and brushed over my clit. My head jerked back and bashed into the cement wall. I cried out in pain.
The beast suddenly stopped. It licked its lips a couple of times, and then stood before me. Its wings folded back as it looked into my eyes.
“V-Vinny…” A tear streaked down my cheek.
Its nostrils flared. The monster took a couple of steps back, and then it howled in pain and fell to the ground. I watched as its muscles twitched and spasmed, its eyes widening in shock, and then squinting shut. I couldn’t watch, so I looked away. It let out several inhuman howls, and then they started sounding less-beastlike and more Vincent-like.
He let out a grunt and started panting. When I looked back, Vincent kneeled in front of me, one leg up and the other tucked under him. One hand was on his thigh and the other on the ground in between his legs. He was completely naked.
I blushed profusely. “V-Vincent… you’re back. You’re okay.”
He stood up, not making eye contact, not speaking. As he walked towards me, I still saw a glimmer of beast in his eye. I shrunk back against the wall as soon as he got too close.
“Vincent?” I asked quietly. He lifted his hands and placed them on my naked hips. I let out another gasp. His eyes met mine finally. They still held the look of beast in them, clouded with lust and dominance. His breath smelled of my musk and he licked his lips, not certain he got enough. He pushed my hips back into the wall again. He took one of my legs in each hand, and with a quick movement, he thrusted inside me with his rock-hard cock.
I screamed as my barrier broke. My eyes squinted shut as he pulled out, and then forcefully buried himself again. I let out another screech and bashed my head against the wall again. He continued to thrust monstrously, each time harder and harder until my body couldn’t take any more. My pleas died down slowly as he continued. When I failed to make a noise when he thrust into me, he stopped.
His hand reached up and took my cheek. He lifted my head up to look into his eyes. “Yuffie.” He said.
I swallowed the lump in my throat when I saw his eyes. They were normal, still slightly clouded from lust. “V-Vin…” I choked out.
“I tried to fight the monster.” He cast his gaze down. “I couldn’t. When you stopped crying, Chaos, the beast, got confused enough for me to finally take over my body again.” When I didn’t reply, he looked up again. “I’m sorry, Yuffie. I didn’t mean to take this from you. Raped by a monster…” He trailed off his words.
I sniffed. “You couldn’t c-control it.” He pulled away from me, his cock slipping out of my heat. I glanced down and saw its full length stained slightly with blood. I winced. “M-might as well finish what you started.”
Vincent didn’t respond. His eyes clouded over again, this time the beast inside fiercer than ever. He pushed himself onto me, his lips flying to mine. His tongue, tasting of my musk, invaded my mouth harshly. His eyes clouded over more as the head of his cock pressed against me. With a quick thrust, he was inside again. I cried out into his mouth, but he kept his lips there as he pulled in and out of me with a rapid pace.
My eyes squeezed close when an unfamiliar feeling washed through my body. Before I knew it, my walls were convulsing with orgasm. They squeezed tightly onto Vicent’s thick length, which made him roar in ecstasy and grip my hips when he thrust into me one last time. His nails pierced through my skin as his orgasm exploded and his hot seed sprayed all over my walls.
He gasped for air when he finished. His silky black hair fell in waves when he bent his head forward. I sniffed again, fresh tears surfacing on my eyes. When Vincent pulled out, I felt sore and empty.
“I’m sorry.” He repeated. “I couldn’t help myself.”
“Vin…” I started, but bit my lip to stop.
He softly lifted me and unhooked my belt from the wire that held me. I gently lowered my arms, whimpering with the pain. Vincent put me on the ground and I curled up into a ball, holding my knees with my bound hands.
Vincent stood back. He grabbed a discarded blanket from one of the debris piles and placed it over me. He then ran through the clearing into an alley, leaving me, alone, with my fallen comrades.
