Reformation
(Things are mostly violence,until Ch. 6)(My first story here)Chapter 1 is the most lighthearted of the chapters,it establishes the return of characters and traits.Ch. 2-5 will deal with violence.And Ch. 6 branches into sexuality..
Chapter 1-Reformation
Kadaj had been purged of all of his Jenova cells and was spit out by the lifestream. He was a shell of the ball of teen angst and emotion he used to exude. His face had a new radiant glow and he had finally accepted Aeris as God. Everything had changed accept for one thing...
Kadaj's brothers,Loz and Yazoo were alive. They had survived the materia bomb and were looking...for their lost brother.
Kadaj stood in the church of Aeris, where he had been given his new life. It was straight from the lifestream, that so altered his behaviorand purged his darkness. To the flower bed reborn in perfection a second chance..
Loz and Yazoo had waken from the bomb. "Brother..Where do you think Kadaj is?" Yazoo asked Loz as they walked the wreckage of the highway."Huh..?" gasped Loz not paying attention to Yazoo, but rather the jade stream flowing on the ground. "Brother can it be?" Loz asked to Yazoo. Yazoo pulled out a black canister and scooped up as much of the green liquid as possible. "Mother belongs to us again" Loz said in glee.
Kadaj still in the church feeling somewhat bewildered,would be somewhat enlightened about his situation. Standing at the door of the church was Cloud."Kadaj...you've gotten a second chance..catch" Cloud explained as he threw Kadaj his souba that now had a new golden glow to it. "I'll explain things later,follow me" Cloud added.
Cloud and Kadaj made thier way to Tifa's tavern, the walk their was mostly silent and somewhat awkward.
The two had arrived at Tifa's tavern, "Come in Cloud, did you bring a friend?" Tifa said,it was more of a rhetorical question. Cloud and Tifa were in on the rebirth. Kadaj took a seat on one of the barstools, he was confused about all but one thing, for some reason he had a deep love for Aeris,that's all he really knew.
"Kadaj, you are here for a reason" Cloud said. "We did a lot of praying to Aeris, and she answered..and for that reason you get another chance,here on Gaia" Tifa explained.
Loz and Yazoo were exploring the wreckage of the vast highway,when Yazoo stumbled upon Kadaj's materia wrist. "Brothers materia" Yazoo said to Loz. Loz grabbed the armlet, and one materia caught his ire a glowing red materia. "Odin" The two said in succession. "Let us find Kadaj first Brother" Yazoo said.
"We're going to rebuild the church" Cloud said to Kadaj. Kadaj jumped at the idea, as if it was his life's desire.Little did he know he was brainwashed.
Kadaj and Cloud were rebuilding the church from the ground up. The new layout would have perfectly embroidered expensive pews,all decorated with the insignia of Aeris. The flower bed would be boundaried with small walls around the baptism area were all kids affected by geostigma could be purged. They also would have accept Aeris as God, an obligatory matter. Well the kids could always accept death, it was quite the vicious gambit that Cloud and Tifa were in charge of.
It did not bother Kadaj, due to the substantial brainwashing/behavior modifying he was put through in the lifestream he did not have the knowledge of the evil from his past.
Kadaj was at hard work,he was the hardest worker of the church of Aeris. Who worked even after all the other workers left. He camped out on the outside of the church at nights and would go straight back to work in the mornings. The church was rebuilt to it's prominence in three weeks.
"Guess he's truly purged" Tifa said to Cloud,as the two watched Kadaj. "But Tifa...I still wonder" Cloud replied in question. Cloud was quite pensive, he was thinking deeply about the man who would never be purged, who would never get a second chance,the one who commited the ultimate sin. Sephiroth...
Loz and Yazoo approached the cliff above Midgar. "We're here brother" Yazoo mused to Loz. Zack's buster blade still was stuck in the ground. Loz snickered to Yazoo,*pow Loz kicked Zack's buster blade off the cliff. It was sent crashing to the ground below.
"Wake the demons" Yazoo said to Loz. The two in synchronization uttered there mantra's and spawned demons. "Attack Midgar" Loz bellowed as the demons descended on the town."Kadaj will know" Yazoo said to Loz.
Cloud, Kadaj, and Tifa stood in the church of Aeris.They were engaged in small talk when they were rudely interrupted. *Crash "What was that" Cloud responded,as the myriad of fiends made their way through the sanctuary. Breaking the glass of mosiac windows and dismantling Kadaj's hard work. Cloud had his first Tsurugi seven-bladed sword drawn. Kadaj had his golden souba, Tifa had..her fists.
The three prepared to engage the fiends in combat, and Kadaj before the battles began triumphantly proclaimed "I will defend this church at all costs!"
