Movie stunt!
Rude and Reno were running for their crappy lives. Reno had lost his stun baton along the way, and even he had to admit they were outnumbered by far. They were running through small passages, had also climbed multiple fire escapes and jumped over roofs, trying to get away from the people they had tried to eliminate twenty minutes ago.
‘’How… the fuck… was I s’posed to know…’’ Reno panted.
He was trying to follow Rude, who was a lot quicker than he looked, even in a tiny alleyway like this one. His long legs made it easier for him to jump over the fence that was currently in their way, Reno had a little bit more trouble with it. Just a little bit.
After five more minutes of mindless running and looking over their shoulders, Rude stopped Reno by holding up his hand and coming to a halt.
‘’Wh… what is it? … Ya think they’re gone… partner?’’
‘’Maybe.’’
They retreated into the shadows of the dark alley, between piles of garbage and dumpsters. Closing his eyes to listen carefully, Rude could hear cars moving in the distance. The rest of the world was silent.
‘’I don’t hear anything suspicious,’’ he stated, his eyes still closed.
‘’…Good. Let’s g-‘’
Rude grabbed Reno’s arm and put his finger to his lips as a sign he shouldn’t speak. Reno stepped back into the darkness and pointed his ears. He didn’t hear anything…
No wait, now he heard something. A group of people was moving slowly towards them. Dammit, and they were getting close too. He could hear them louder by now, the closest one only a few meters away.
Suddenly an idea popped up in Reno’s head. It might not have been his brightest.
‘’Hmpf?!’’
Reno pushed Rude’s body against the wall, and himself against Rude. He also pressed their lips together. Rude felt completely stunned because of the whole situation, and only tried to get out of Reno’s grip when he heard shouting.
‘’THERE THEY ARE!’’
‘’DON’T LET THEM GET AWAY THIS TIME!’’
Reno moved back and looked behind him.
‘’Shit,’’ he muttered, ‘’guess this kind of stuff only works in movies.’’
Rude rolled with his eyes and pushed Reno aside. His partner didn’t move until Rude had hit two guys unconscious, creating an escape path for himself.
‘’Wait up, yo!’’
