Perfection
Summary: Golbez has plans for Cecil. But he needs the man back in the Tower of Babil, without his friends. Kain/Cecil, Golbez/Cecil. SPOILER WARNING!!
Author's Notes: Part II of my “Revenge Against Square-Enix” plot, that satisfies my poor perverted mind. This is my take at an alternative to the game's plot. What if Golbez got a hold of Cecil and coaxed him into joining his side? Because I love corrupting characters and making them go through hell ^^.
Anyways, if you don't like spoilers, yaoi, rape and incest, I suggest to stop reading here. Flames will be laughed at and used to cook food for Chlover's amazingly cute puppy XD. Constructive criticism is greatly appreciated and will be taken in consideration; praise will make me hyper for a while ^_^.

Perfection
Chapter 1 - Trick
The light frame fell to the cold, metal floor with a loud clank. The youth simply looked surprised, barely hurt due to the heavy, white and purple armor covering most of his body. For a moment, a pair of hidden eyes gazed at his body; the soft, pale features and long silver hair reminded him of someone. Someone he knew long ago, someone he loved and cared about...
His mother.
Their mother.
No. It wasn't possible. Cecil Harvey was supposed to be dead. Or at least not the healthy, strong young man in front of his eyes. He had made sure of it when... when he realized Cecil was the one responsible for their mother's death. Had the man not been born, she would be alive. Images of his mother on her bed, holding the newborn in her arms as she drifted into sleep – of which she never woke up – and him, as a boy, taking the baby far away from Baron...
He shook his head. He never liked thinking about the past. He had dwelt on it long enough, and Zemus had finally helped him out in overcoming it.
But Cecil was alive and surrounded by what he could see as friends. Even the other young man he managed to have control of – Kain – was a friend of Cecil.
And he'd exploit it.
'Gain his trust again. I'll get him in the end.'
~
“Can't sleep?”
Cecil tensed up at the deep voice in the trees behind him, and tightened the grip on his sword. Instead of unsheathing it right away, he turned around and found himself face-to-face with Kain. Relieved, he sighed, allowing his body relax. As deadly as the blond dragoon might have been, he didn't fear him. Not even after what he had gone through.
“Exactly. I thought I'd tire myself out by taking a walk, but so far it's not working,” the paladin sighed softly.
Kain closed in on the distance between the both of them, using his spear as a walking stick. “Thought so. You looked worried after that whole thing with Golbez earlier.”
“I'm more worried about why I didn't have the reflex of killing him.” Cecil lowered his head, sighing again. “He was helpless after he pushed me down. I have no idea what went through his head, but whatever it was, it was enough to destabilize him for a moment. I could have leaped and killed him. I should have done it...”
“It's okay,” Kain replied. “Everyone was taken aback. You'll get your chance later.”
Cecil resumed, as if his friend had not even spoke. “... but I didn't. And he didn't do anything either. I was open for blows, so was he. Why…? Why didn't he finish me off?”
The dragoon stopped about a foot away from Cecil, shaking his head as he crossed his arms over his chest. “The important thing is that he didn't, Cecil. I'd rather have you alive and the crystal gone, than you gone.”
Cecil rose his head slightly, a smile creeping up on his face. But it soon faded. “But I... I failed. I should have known better than to trust him.”
“If you keep thinking in such a negative way, it's eventually going to happen,” Kain added, rolling his eyes. “So you need to start thinking positive, and for that, you need to rest. You're exhausted.”
Another sigh. “That's the problem. I'm not.”
“You've overtired. You're working yourself too hard.” Kain paused and motioned to his right with his head. “There's some lake not too far. Why don't we go take a dive? Should tire you out, and it's going to give me some entertainment I haven't had in a while.”
Cecil shrugged, not too enthralled by the idea of having fun while he should have been fighting Golbez. On the other hand, he had earned a little distraction. “Why not? I need to get my mind off all of this anyways, just for a few minutes. Forget that the world will be ending soon if I don't do anything.”
“And that's exactly what I'm talking about. You keep thinking it's your fault and that you need to fix everything.”
“...”
After a few minutes of walking through the trees in silence, the men reached a large, breathtaking clearing. The lake sparkled under the moonlight. Cecil stood still in amazement, barely noticing Kain taking his armor off. It was the dragoon's voice which took him out of his daydreaming.
“Come on. The water's perfect.”
Cecil watched as the blond hair disappeared under water, and reappeared a few meters away from the shore.
“Come on! This lake goes pretty deep...” And the head disappeared again.
For a few moment, Cecil wondered if it was safe or not to remove all his equipment. If he misplaced anything – especially his sword! - and couldn't find them, he'd be done for. The area seemed to be clear of monsters, but he hated taking chances.
“Cecil, it's clear. Don't worry.” Kain's voice came from even further this time. “I'm not even close to you and I know what you're thinking. We're safe. Think I'd take you out for a swim in a monster-infested lake?”
The paladin chuckled. Kain would never pull such a trick, and the idea itself was laughable. After having slowly undressed, he decided to take a run for it, and dove in the crystal-clear water. “You were right,” he said as he surfaced, running a hand in his wet hair to push it away from his face. “It's just perfect.”
Finally deciding to relax, Cecil swam further, standing up for a few seconds before giving his legs a push, bringing him into a floating position. “This place is wonderful. How did you find it?”
“Same as you did. I went for a walk. Just took a different direction.” Kain took a deep breath and stretched, his eyes resting on the pale body near him. “You should get a hold of this place before some other king or prince does. Would be a nice summer home.”
“Yeah, I should. Maybe once everything is settled, and I have time for myself again. There's bound to be animals around... hogs, rabbits or deer. I've never been much of a hunter, but it has to have its nice side.”
Kain shrugged, getting even closer to Cecil. “Probably.”
Cecil then felt something cold on his ankles. Tentacles. Or hands, rather. “Let go,” he said, chuckling. The hands spun him around and he lost his floating balance, sinking him slightly in the water and submerging his head, which he pulled out quite fast as he stood up. The water was up to his abs. “Don't do that...” He said to Kain, coughing between laughs. “I'm ticklish...”
Kain grinned. “Why do you think I do it?”
“You're horrible. That's torture you know.”
“It's only torture if you're not enjoying it.”
“Shut up!” And Cecil broke into another fit of laughter.
But it didn't stop Kain from doing it once more, once Cecil let himself float again. “Stop grabbing my legs!” Cecil shouted playfully, kicking to splash water on his childhood friend. He was dragged in the water on a few inches before the hands climbed to his shins, then his knees, spreading his legs apart. “Kain... what are you doing?” he inquired, amused.
There was no reply from the blond-haired man. The hands were now on the back of his thighs, dragging him even closer. “Kain?” he spoke, before the other man's body prevented him from going further. Kain's left hand moved from his thigh and reached the small of his back, pulling their bodies together. “Kain...?”
He didn't get the chance of speaking another word. Kain's lips covered his own in a silent, hungry kiss.
Cecil's eyes widened in surprise, looking around as if to find an explanation for all of this. After a few seconds – which seemed an eternity – spent in utter confusion, the younger man gave in and wrapped his arms around the lean shoulders.
By the end of the rather long kiss, Cecil could feel goosebumps on Kain's skin. He pulled off and ran his hand into his hair again, pushing the silver bangs away from his eyes. 'I should've kept my bandana on', he thought, catching his breath. His hair was getting annoying at most. “Are you cold?”
“A bit”, Kain replied, pressing on Cecil's body. “Careful,” he added before lowering himself in the water, dragging his partner along. Their lips locked again, but the kiss didn't last as long as they had expected; both men had to surface to breathe again.
Gently, Kain removed wet silver bangs from his partner's face, staring in the bright blue orbs in front of him. He then lowered his eyes on what was visible of Cecil's upper body, musing on how his pale skin seemed to glow under the moonlight. “If I hurt you, you tell me right away 'kay?”
Loosely clinging to the dragoon, Cecil nodded. He closed his eyes shut and cringed, feeling a finger inside him. As a reflex he clenched his sphincter right away, but was kindly told to relax, once again.
And here he was, at twenty years old, on the verge of losing his virginity. At least it was to Kain. He felt it should have happened years ago, like most boys. But the other man seemed to have the necessary experience, and really, he had hoped that his first time would have been with him.
Cecil forced himself to ignore the pain as a second finger was inserted inside of him. He cringed once more, squeezing the shoulders in front of him. The blond man threw him a puzzled look and started to withdraw his fingers when Cecil shook his head.
“Don't stop, please...”
With a slight shrug, Kain pushed his fingers back in, adding another in the process, inducing a loud moan from the younger man. “I really hope I'm not hurting you too much,” he whispered into his partner's ear before gently nibbling on the man's earlobe. He received no answer, but as he reached in to kiss him again, he noticed Cecil's flustered smile. 'I guess I don't have to worry about. You enjoy being dominated don't you...'
The dragoon grinned and slowly removed the fingers. Cecil's boyish vulnerability turned Kain on and he couldn't wait much longer to be inside him. Quickly but carefully, he grabbed his length with his left hand and, supporting Cecil with his right arm, gently pushed inside him. 'What a tight little ass you have,' he told to himself, the grin on his face spreading wider.
Kain gave his friend a short time to adjust to the member inside of him, and took a deep breath before pulling out, and back in right after. He watched as Cecil closed his eyes and parted his pink lips to breathe, his pale chest slowly rising.
And he continued, thrusting upwards, taking rests by lifting the other man up and down with one hand – it was so easy in the water, and since Cecil was a lightweight, he was sure he could have pulled if off out of the water as well. He ran his lips at the base of his neck, down on the collarbone and resting on the silver-haired man's nipple for a second, carefully tugging at it.
Cecil squirmed under his touch and opened his eyes again. Something was annoying him – his own erection. With an aroused groan, he removed his right arm from Kain's shoulders and wrapped his hand around his throbbing member in one swift motion. Eyes half-closed in pleasure, he stared at the face before his; Kain's blue eyes seemed focused on his upper body, although they would sometimes stop by his own face. His well-toned chest rose with each quick breath in a manner Cecil thought as hypnotic. The blue ribbon holding the blond man's hair into a loose ponytail was long gone, leaving the long strands of hair fall around his shoulder and into the water, moving at the rhythm of the waves created by their bodies moving.
Blissfully, Kain jerked his head backwards, knowing he would come to release soon. He honestly didn't want to – he wanted this moment to last forever. The dragoon brought their bodies closer again, their lips meeting in a passionate kiss. His left hand roamed Cecil's back, savoring every square inch of the soft skin under his fingers. The sensation sent him over the edge before he could do anything about it, and he came inside the other man, moaning loudly.
Noticing that his partner already spent himself, Cecil impaled himself at a faster speed, keeping his hand on his member. He gasped as Kain's hand covered his and helped him pick up the pace, until the silver-haired youth's body tensed up and shook as he reached climax. His own voice rang in his ears as he yelled out Kain's name repeatedly, before his body went limp again. Clinging to the body in front of him, Cecil rested his head in the nook of Kain's shoulders. He emitted satisfied groans as he was slowly carried out of the water.
Once on the land, the blond man gently helped Cecil to his feet, before wrapping his arms around the smaller frame, pulling him into another deep kiss. “I didn't hurt you, did I?” he inquired, slightly worried.
Cecil shook his head again. “I'm fine. Just a bit uncomfortable but I'll be okay soon.” He paused, his eyes drifting to Kain's naked body, then at the landscape, looking in the distance. How would he explain their absence from the camp they had settled? Did he actually need to justify it? A shiver brought him back to reality; Kain was sitting on the lush grass, inviting him to join.
“Come here,” he added with a motion of his hand. “You gotta dry up.”
“It's not that cold. I'm just tired.” Cecil replied, settling himself in his childhood friend's arms. Kain's large hands provided extra comfort as they roamed over his chest and arms.
Now relieved, the paladin fell asleep, lulled by Kain's fingers in his silver hair.
~
'Thank the gods he's a heavy sleeper.' After making sure Cecil was fast sleep, Kain got up and dressed himself quickly, checking every now and then on the other man's frame for any sign of awakening. Thankfully for him, nothing major happened – Cecil simply rolled on his side. Kain grabbed the man's cape and wrapped the silver-haired paladin in it, then delicately lifted him up.
Golbez would be happy.
