Forgotton Angels

Chapter 1

Town of Aishlin

Narrator: While most people feared the war and the destruction that it brought, in the Town of Aishlin far off on the Alexandra Boarder there was a small band of orphans that lived together in a old abandond thearter. Theres was about six of them in all. Namine, her sister Kidd, Denzel, Aiden, Kyla, and Zack.

Dispite the troubled times and all their diffuculties they stuck together no matter what. They had a saying in their group,
If I can stop one heart from breaking,
I shall not live in vain.
If I can ease one life the aching,
Or cool one pain,
Or help one fainting robin
Unto his nest again,
I shall not live in vain.
They adopted this saying from Emily Dickinson and were true to it and helped whom ever they could when ever they could. They were known as The Red Robins.

*Namine runs into the thearter*

NAMINE: Kyla!! look what i found outside! *Holds up a bottle*

KYLA: Namine how many times have i told you not to go out side alone?! its to dangorous for a kid!

NAMINE: im not a kid! i can take care of myself, im a mage after all.

KYLA: your a mage in training and your 12 its still dangerous *sigh* Well what did you want to show me?

NAMINE: *Smiles* i found this message in a bottle at the docks! itsnt that cool?!

*Denzel walks in*

DENZEL: *yawns* hey guys whats all the noise about?

*Kidd looks at at denzel and frowns*

KYLA: you should be resting denzel youve been sick for awhile now.

DENZEL: im fine, anyway whats in the bottle namine?

NAMINE: *namine grins* a mystreious letter!

DENZEL: *becomes excited* Really?! wow! thats so cool namine! your sssooo lucky!

KYLA: ok guys thats enough. Look Team 1 is home that means we have to get ready to make our rounds.

NAMINE&DENZEL: aaaawwww!!!!!

NAMINE: but i wanna read whats in the bottle Kyla!

DENZEL: me to! please Kyla? let us read it before we leave?

KYLA: oh no you dont your not gonna fool me with those puppy dog eyes, hand over the bottle namine.

*Kyla holds out her hand and namine gives her the bottle reluctantly*

KYLA: now go get ready you two *smiles*

*denzel and namine leave grumbling*

AIDEN: *chuckles* i havent seen them that irritated since you told them they couldnt leave the thearter with out
one of us what did you do Kyla?

*Kyla sighs and tells Adien, Zack and Kidd the story*

KIDD: thats my little sister. always looking for trouble for ya *smiles* dont worry ill talk some sense in to her before she leaves.

*Kidd leaves to find Namine*

KYLA: *whispers* any news?

AIDEN: *whispers* i didnt hear anything, did you Zack?

ZACK: *nods* Meara was attacked last night...

KYLA:*gasps* but Meara is a sea port town surrounded by cliffs and mountians, how did they manage to take over the town in one night?!

ZACK: *whispers* keep your voice down kyla! look i dont mean to snap but i dont want the kids to know. As for
Meara it sounds like no one knows how shinra got to them in one night.

AIDEN: *whispers* so what are we going to do zack? We cant just sit here and wait we could be next.

*Zack looks up when he hears foot steps*

ZACK: *whispers* we'll talk about all of that later but for now pretend this conversation never happened and try to keep the childern away from the town square.

NAMINE: red robin Namine reporting for duty!

DENZEL: *laughs* im ready to!

KYLA: *smiles* well i guess that means its time to go right team 2?

DENZEL&NAMINE: Ma'am yeas ma'am!

KYLA: and whats our motto team 2?

NAMINE&DENZEL: If I can stop one heart from breaking,
I shall not live in vain.
If I can ease one life the aching,
Or cool one pain,
Or help one fainting robin
Unto his nest again,
I shall not live in vain.

KYLA: thats right team lets do our motto proud!

*kyla, denzel, and namine leave laughing*

AIDEN: So whats for dinner sweet cheeks?

*Aiden laughs and kidd throws a daggers at him but aiden dogges*

AIDEN: I was just kidding kidd i swear!

KIDD: Like id believe any thing you'd say you discusting pervert!

AIDEN: come on kidd show some mercy! im begging you here!

*Zack laughs at his brother and sister from a table*

NARRATOR: Soon the red robin patrols were over and the family sat together and ate dinner. As they ate Aiden told mystical stories of dragons, magic and even Aions before the childeren where ushered to bed by Kyla and Zack, where they were tucked in for the night.

DENZEL:*whispers* Zack?

ZACK: hm?

DENZEL: * whispers* we're always gonna be a family right?

ZACK: *whispers* Yeah,

DENZEL: *whispers* and you'll always protect us right?

ZACK: *whispers* of course thats what families do denzel we protect one another. So no matter what i'll always be there to protect you.

*denzel smiles and falls asleep*

ZACK: *whispers* sweet dreams kids. *walks out and shuts door*.


NARRATOR: the Night wore on just like any other in the small town and it seemed as though nothing could penitrate the peace of the miss matched family. Little did they know their days were numbered and the peace and tranquility of their home would soon be torn to pieces.

~~NEXT MORNING~~

FLASHBACK

ELLIE: Hes just a boy! leave him alone! im the one you want right?!

DARREN: You fucking bitch! *darren punches ellie causing her to fall to the ground* I run this house! i am the master here! how dare you tell me what to do! * darren beats ellie as she lies on the floor*

ZACK: Stop it! stop hurting my mom!

DARREN: *pauses* tsk! *kicks ellie one last time*

*ellie groans in pain*

DARREN: *walks over to zack* and how are you gonna stop me brat? you can hardly deffend yourself *evily chuckles*

ZACK: *voice shaking* i-i'll take h-her place! So l-leave my m-mom alone!

DARREN: *Chuckles evily* well then we're going to have some fun tonight boy. *takes off his belt*

*BLACKS OUT*

END FLASH BACK

KYLA: Zack?

*zack looks over and sees Kyla walking up the stairs*

KYLA: are you alright zack? do you need to talk?

ZACK: *smirks* why would you ask me that kyla?

KYLA: *sits down on the window ledge with zack* you only come up to the thearter tower when your troubled. whats wrong zack?

ZACK: *sighs* theres nothing i can keep hidden from you, is there kyla?

KYLA: its a mothers intuition after all *kyla smiles warmly*

ZACK: *chuckles*

KYLA: talk to me zack? why are you up in the tower all alone with such a sad face?

ZACK: *sighs* i was thinking about my mom and darren.

KYLA: *stiffens* im sorry zack i shouldnt have asked i--

ZACK: *chuckles* its ok kyla, your really the only person i can talk to about my past.

KYLA: what were you remembering/

ZACK: the first night i took my mothers place.

KYLA: im sorry zack * holds zack close, zack holds her back*

*footsteps running upstairs*

DENZEL: *shout* i found them guys their up here!!

*3 sets of footsteps run up the stairs*

AIDEN: *grins* zack and kyla sitting in a tree K-I-S-S-I-N-G!

KIDD: *smack aiden in the back of the head* knock it off pervert

NAMINE: hey guys what did i miss?

DENZEL: nothing out of the ordinary *laughs*

AIDEN: *hisses in pain* jeez why are you being so moody? is it that time of the month already?

KIDD: you wanna run that buy me again?! ill kick your ass so hard itll kiss the moon aiden, dont tempt me!

*zack, kyla, denzel, and aiden all laugh*

ZACK: well i think today the is the day that the little robins will leave the nest.

KYLA: zack?

ZACK: I think its time the kids learn how to be adults startin to today. So im going to mix up the groups a bit.

NAMINE: haha! i always knew this day was coming now i can show them what mage namine is made of.

DENZEL: *laughs*

KYLA: *whispers* Are you sure zack? I mean they're just kids

ZACK: *whispers* its better to have them learn now in this safe town then somewhere else normally i would wait but with the war......

KYLA: *whispers* i understand....

ZACK: Ok heres how the new teams will look it'll be me, Aiden, and Kyla in group 2 and Kidd, Namine and Denzel in group 1 we clear?

NAMINE&DENZEL: sir yes sir!!

KIDD: you got it boss *chuckles*

ZACK: alright you guys start your rounds and meet back here when the sun is at its highest point got it?

NAMINE&DENZEL: sir yes sir!!

*zack chuckles*

*denzel and namine leaving stage with fading voices*

NAMINE: look out world here i come

DENZEL: be carful namine if your head gets to big it'll roll right off your shoulders.

NAMINE: what was that denzel?!

DENZEL: *runs off laughing*

NAMINE: your so dead when i catch you! *runs after him*

ZACK: kidd im leaving you as the leader of group 1 understood?

KIDD: yeah i understane i'll watch the kids and make sure that they dont get into to much trouble.

AIDEN: You know kidd this more of a mans job maybe i should come with you, just in case you feel over whelmed i mean your----

KIDD: *dagger shwing noise* *holds it to aidens throat* *grins* i think i can handle my sister and denzel aiden. your concern while endering *scowls* is unwanted.........

AIDEN: *gulps* g-got it.

KIDD: *walks off stage*

AIDEN: ok zack explain. why would you split up the groups.

ZACK: we need to talk about when we're going to move from this town. Meara is off a ways but Shinra got to meara faster then anyone suspected.

KYLA: *sad voice* so then we'll have to leave soon...

AIDEN: yeah who knows when they'll strike.

KYLA: so zack when do we leave and how do we keep it from the kids?

ZACK: we'll leave tomarrow morning we'll pack what we can carry and we'll tell the kids that the red robins are expanding their horizons.

*fade out*

NARRATOR: the day drug by slowly for group 2 of the red robins. Each was in his or her own way saying goodbye to the place that they had called home for so long. When suddenly there was screaming that could be heard in the distance.

AIDEN: what was that?

ZACK: I dont know

KYLA: the kids!

*runs out to find them*

VILLAGER 1: RUN!

VILLAGER 2: shinra!! its shinra!!

*screams, gun shots, magic and explosions*

ZACK: *takes out a comunicator* group 1 this is group 2 do you read me?! *static* damn it!

ZACK: split up and find the kids meet back at the thearter as soon as possible! keep your communicartors on at all times!

AIDEN&KYLA: got it!

*scence change*

AIDEN: Kidd! Namine! denzel! * aiden spots kidd*

AIDEN: kidd! *communicator noise* ive found kidd but theres no sign of denzel or namine.

ZACK: *static* got it we'll keep loking return to the thearter aiden!

AIDEN: *runs over to kidd* Kidd! hang on kidd!

KIDD: *in a weak pained voice* A-Aiden......t-the kids.........

AIDEN: *picks kidd up gently* zack and kyla are looking for them right now its going to be ok kidd just hang on!

*scence change*

KYLA: namine! denzel!

NAMINE: *screams*

KYLA: Namine! im comming!

SHINRA SOLDIER 1: give it up girly were to strong for you!

NAMINE: no! stop it! some one help me!!

SHINRA SOLDIER 2: no one is going to come for you kid!

KYLA: BRAEK!

*soldiers become petrified*

KYLA: namine! are you alright?! did they touch you?!

NAMINE: *sobs* kyla!

KYLA: its alright your safe now namine *communicator noise* This is Kyla ive found Namine and im heading back, zack we're counting on you.

*scene change*

ZACK: denzel!! where are you?! denzel!!

*scene change*

SHINRA SOLDIER 3: this area is secure sir!

MYSTERY MAN: Good return to the ship

SHINRA SOLDIER 3: but sir--

MYSTERIOUS MAN: you dare to question your orders? they come derectly from lord Kieron shinra himself. In 1 hr we will be destroying this town completly.

SHINRA SOLDIER 3: im sorry sir please forgive my rudeness ill be returning to the ship right away.

DENZEL: *whispers*i have to tell Zack

MYSTERIOUS MAN: tell him what exactly

DENZEL: *gasp*

MYSTERIOUS MAN: *knocks denzel out*

DENZEL: *groans in pain*

MYSTERIOUS MAN: you over there!

SHINRA SOLDIER 4: yes sir?

MYSTERIOUS MAN: take this boy to the ship i may have some use for him.

SHINRA SOLDIER 4: yes sir! *soldier throws denzel over his shoulder*

ZACK: denzel!

MYSTERIOUS MAN: tsk, theses rats just keep poping up dont they.

ZACK: let go of denzel you bastard!

MYSTERIOUS MAN: im afraid i cant do that. i have a use for this boy.

ZACK: It wasnt a question! *draws sword*

MYSTERIOUS MAN: so you wish to dance? *mans pulls out a swallow blade*

*battle sounds* *zack is defeated*

MYSTERIOUS MAN: if you wish to live then leave this town before we destroy it you have 30 mins.

*zack passes out with a pained groan*

*mysterious man and shinra soldier 4 leave the scence*

*fade out*

AIDEN: * communicator sound*Zack! Zack! can you here me?! Zack!

KYLA: *communicator sound* Zack where are you?! Are you alright?! have you found Denzel?!

ZACK: *pained groan* *communicator sound* guys can you hear me?

AIDEN:*communicator sound* zack! thank the gods where have you been man?!

ZACK: *communicator sound* no time to explain we gotta get out of the town

KYLA: *communicator sound* zack did you find denzel?!

ZACK: *communicator sound* shinra took him i tried to stop them but they were to powerful for me

AIDEN: *communicator sound* we cant leave without him zack!

ZACK:*communicator sound* we have to the town is going to be destroyed just like meara was! if we dont leave then we'll never be able to save denzel!

KYLA: *communicator sound* where sould we meet?

ZACK:*communicator sound* We'll meet at the edge of the forbidden forest shinra wont look for us there.

AIDEN: *communicator sound* you got it man

KYLA: *communicator sound* zack?

ZACK: *communicator sound* yeah?

KYLA: *communicator sound* be carful

ZACK: *communicator sound* will do

NARRATOR: As the robbins fled from their home the town was engulfed by green and black flames. The likes of which had never been seen before and no matter how much the people tried the flames simply wouldnt go out. In no time at all Ashling was turned from a quiet port town to a sea of flames.

*scence change*

*outside the forbidden forest with a crackling flame*

AIDEN: how's kidd kyla?

KYLA: i dont know she had alot of wounds, i bandaged them as best i could but i dont know what else to do.

AIDEN: are you saying that theres a chance that---

KYLA: *rushed and shaky voice* i dont know Aiden she needs a doctor.

*Zack walks into camp*

AIDEN&KYLA: zack!

KYLA: are you ok?! your covered in wounds!

ZACK: its not as bad as it looks. Is everyone here ok?

KYLA: im ok come here and let me dress your wounds.

ZACK: aiden?

AIDEN: im ok just some minior wounds but ill live

ZACK: Namine and Kidd?

KYLA: Namine is resting i found some shinra assholes tryng to have their way with her

ZACK: *rushed and angry* Kyla did they--

KYLA: no they didnt get far before i turned them to stone chances are they went up in flames with the town.

ZACK: *sighs quietly in relief* and Kidd?

AIDEN: Kidd wasnt as lucky shes covered in deep wounds and theres not much that we can do.

ZACK: has namine tied to heal her with her white magic?

KYLA: she said that there was some kind of barrier blocking her from healing

(kidds voice is weak and raspy at this point)

KIDD: *groans in pain* z-zack.......

*aiden, kyla and zack rush over to kidd*

ZACK: im here kidd whats wrong do you need something?

KIDD: i dont have much time left guys *trys to laugh but ends up coughing*

AIDEN: hey kidd thats not funny dont say stuff like that

KYLA: yeah you cant leave you have namine here and she needs her big sister right?

KIDD: i-i need you g-guys to pro-promise me someth-thing.....

ZACK: kidd?

KIDD: as r-red robins *coughs* end the w-war, promise me....zack.........

ZACK: i promise kidd ill end it but you have to stay here!

AIDEN: dont leave us kidd not yet i want us to see that peaceful world together.

KYLA: thats right kidd you cant go without seeing it with us.

KIDD: Aiden come closer....please?

*Aiden leans down so kidd can whisper to him*

KIDD: *whispers* I l-love you aiden..........*voice fades at the end*

AIDEN: kidd? kidd? hey come on this isnt funny, kidd?! wake up! wake up! kidd... *holds kidd and starts to cry*

ZACK: Aiden.......

KYLA: *sobs*

NAMINE: guys? whats wrong? why is everyone so sad?

*zack turns and hugs namine*

ZACK: im sorry namine its kidd she---

NAMINE: whats wrong with kidd? zack? why are you crying? *Namine looks at kidd* Kidd?

*kidds body starts to fade away in aidens arms*

NAMINE: no.....NO! kidd! you cant leave me! you promised! you promised to stay with me no matter what! kidd! please dont go! KKKIIIDDDDDD!!!!!!

NARRATOR: And so the robins crys echoed through the plains as they lost yet another member of their family that night. This would be a night that none of them would ever forget.
