Cloud's eyes fluttered open gently. He didn't remember much from what had just happened. He felt like he had been asleep for hours.

He looked around, taking in the sight of the room he was in. It was unfamiliar. Cloud got a bit scared, silently noting his injuries and weakness. Cloud tried sitting up, his stomach hurting so badly that he lay back down, scowling silently.

He heard the door open and close, seeing none other than Loz before him. Cloud's eyes went wide, "What do you want from me?!"

"Calm down," Loz instructed.

"No! What am I doing here?! You could kill me!" Cloud said.

Loz looked him in the eyes, "You're safe. I assure you." He handed Cloud the glass in his hand, "Drink this."

"What is it?"

"It's a potion. You're weak, you need it."

"No. You could kill me."

"Ah, for fuck's sake..." Loz took a few sips of the potion in his hand, "See? I'm not dead, am I?"

"I'm weaker," Cloud pointed out.

"I've got wounds too, I just don't care to show them to you. Now. Drink it. I swear on Mother I'm not trying to kill you."

Cloud reluctantly took the glass, sipping it and feeling his more minor wounds heal first. Loz smirked, satisfied, "I'd have given you Restore, but—well, Kadaj took it all. Selfish, as always."

"It's fine," Cloud said, still bewildered. "Why'd you bring me here? Where's—where am I? I'm really confused..."

He looked up carefully at the larger man, who sat down, "You're still in Midgar. As for why I brought you here, well, there's a lot of reasons. I knocked you out being the first."

Cloud raised an eyebrow, suspicious, "Normally you wouldn't care. I've seen what your brothers do."

Loz turned away from Cloud, disheartened, "I'm not my brothers. I'm different from them. Always have been. Always will be. They don't understand. They've never felt like....Ugh, never mind, forget I said anything. If you don't wanna stay, then fine, you can go," Loz said.

"No! No, I—I'm sorry. I didn't mean to lump you in with them," Cloud said, taking a sip of potion. Loz relaxed a bit more, looking down and muttering an apology. Cloud took a breath, "Tell me more," he whispered.

Loz looked at him for a long moment, tears in his eyes. He sighed, "Yaz and Kadaj don't get it. They don't understand what it's like to be a—a failed experiment."

Cloud took his hand, "You're not—"

"I am!" Loz wailed, pulling his hand away, "I know I am! I'm not as stupid as they think. I know Mother talks to Kadaj constantly. I know she speaks to Yaz in his dreams. She's spoken to me once, Cloud, and you know what she said to me?! I'm a failure, and I don't bring, and I'm not worthy of her genetics, for whatever damn reason. I cried so hard that night, and the only thing stopping me from offing myself was Yazoo. He held me through the night and kissed me. I felt a little better but—that's not something I can just forget."

Cloud put his glass down on the night table, taking Loz's hand into both his own, and looking into his eyes, "I know how that feels too. Sephiroth's cells—I was created to be a perfect SOLDIER like him, but I came out of it with hardly any memories and the Mako addiction made me so weak. It's okay. I was a failed experiment, too."

"Those eyes are not the eyes of a failed experiment," Loz said.

"No. By definition, they are. I'm supposed to be strong, but I feel so weak—so empty inside. I've accepted that I'm not who they wanted me to be. At the end of the day, that's all you can do is be who you are," Cloud said.

"I hate feeling like this, but I'm glad I'm not alone," Loz said.

"I never knew you felt this way," Cloud whispered.

"I'm not exactly going to open up to you when we're trying to kill each other. Sorry for that, by the way," Loz said sheepishly.

"Don't be," Cloud said, "you were just doing what you had to."

"You put up a good fight. I'm not gonna lie, I didn't expect much from you." Loz said.

"Nobody ever does," Cloud muttered.

Loz smiled, moving over, "Well, you're tiny. No offense. Compared to someone like me, though..." He placed his hands on either side of Cloud's waist. Cloud's breath quickened, Loz pretended not to notice, "See? I could crush you with just my hands." He let go of Cloud's waist, gently stroking the blonde's neck with the tips of his fingers, "You're so delicate. So—so fragile..."

"Well—you're huge!" Cloud blushed. Loz smirked, raising an eyebrow, "I didn't mean it that way!"

"I suppose you're right no matter what you meant," Loz smiled.

Cloud opened his mouth to say something, but a series of coughs came out instead. Loz smiled in a caring sort of way, "Have you been drinking your potion, Chocobo-head?"

"Um..." Cloud took the glass off the nightstand, sipping it.

"That's better. Goddess, you're just as bad as Kadaj." Loz rolled his eyes. Kadaj was a terrible patient, refusing to sleep or take his potions. Loz always had to all-but strap him down and force-feed him, knock him out if he had to.

Yazoo was better with bedside hospitality.

"I might have to stay with you for a long, long while just to make sure you get some rest," Loz said.

"I'm not sure I'd altogether object to that," Cloud said softly, "Sometimes i get lonely, sleeping by myself."

"I usually sleep with Yazoo," Loz confessed.

"Really?"

"Yeah. I used to get terrible nightmares, and he always helped me. Sometimes we'd just sleep, but sometimes we'd talk all night—'bout everything and more. Most of the time, we don't have to talk, we just—we just know, but it's nice hearing his voice and making him laugh."

Cloud smiled, "That's sweet, Loz."

"It's true. I love my Yazoo. I'd—I'd do anything for him."

Cloud moved over, "Come to bed. I think we need some comfort."

Loz smiled, more than pleased, "Sure." He pulled back the covers, getting into bed with Cloud. Loz tried to offer distance, but Cloud simply smiled, curling up close to the silver-haired man's muscular form. Loz smiled back, putting his arm around the blonde, warming him in his embrace. "This feels nice," Cloud whispered.

The Remnant rested his head on top of Cloud's, kissing it softly. Cloud looked up in surprise, his Mako-blue eyes widened in a smile. A tinge of pink rose to Loz's cheeks, "What?"

"You've never kissed me before."

Loz looked down at him, their faces close, "Well—I've thought about it enough."

It was Cloud's turn to blush, "Really?"

"Close your eyes, Cloud."

Cloud complied, Loz leaning down and pressing his lips gently to the blonde's. It was soft and tender—everything their fighting wasn't. Cloud rested his hands on the other man's chest, opening his mouth and deepening the kiss.

They parted, in need of oxygen, "I've been wanting to do that a long time, Cloud."

"You're not the only one."

"Really?"

"I wouldn't kiss you like that if I wasn't serious."

Loz smiled, "No one's ever....I mean, besides Yazoo..."

"I'm surprised. You're gorgeous," Cloud blushed.

"Compared to them? Nah, I'm nothing special," Loz said, referring to his brothers.

"I used to think the same about Zack and Sephiroth. They showed me I was more, though. Just like you. You're every bit as beautiful as Kadaj and Yazoo. Maybe even more." Cloud said, giving him a gentle kiss.

"Cloud, can I ask you something?"

"Anything, Loz."

"Well, you knew Sephiroth before. I mean, you still do I guess, but—am I anything like him? I don't ever feel like I belong to him. His being, I mean."

Cloud smiled, "You're extremely loyal to your brothers. You're strong. Beautiful. Just from that, yes you are like him. There's something else, though. Zack and I saw a side of Sephiroth that nobody ever saw, and to my knowledge nobody's seen since. Behind your eyes, Loz—I see that gentleness. That sensitivity, that sheer lovingness that was always so present when I was with Sephiroth. That drew me to you. I've seen glimmers of it in Yazoo, never in Kadaj, but you: your aura glows with it. For that, to me, you're the most like him. I can still see it in him but—his malice has taken over."

Loz blinked, "I never knew."

"No one ever did. Except Zack."

"You trust me, right?" Loz asked, taking Cloud's hand.

"Against my better judgement, yeah, I do. I can't outright ignore your normal tendencies, but then again, you're not Kadaj. I don't trust him at all," Cloud explained.

"That's fair. I get that," Loz hesitated, "I guess I can only trust you so much, too. Your eyes, though. Your eyes make me wanna tell you everything."

"You can tell me everything," Cloud said.

Loz ran his hand down Cloud's body, pausing at his hip, "I want to show you everything."

Cloud could feel his body react to the other man's touch, suddenly distracted by the ache in his groin. He knew Loz probably didn't mean anything sensual by the touch, and Cloud cursed himself silently for wanting to give himself over to the first man to show him affection since Zack.

On the other hand, Cloud couldn't blame himself too much. It had been so long since he was with anyone like that, and Loz was touching him in just that right way—

"Cloud?"

Cloud looked up at him, "Yes?"

Loz smiled, "What are you thinking about? You seem so enthralled."

"How good it feels to be next to you."

"You know, it'd feel better with our shirts off," Loz smiled.

Cloud silently wondered if Loz could read minds or something. Only one way to find out. He put on a face of shock, "You just wanna get me naked!"

Loz moved closer, almost predatorily, his face millimeters from Cloud's, "Is that really such a bad thing?"

Yeah, Loz could definitely read minds. Cloud's breath caught, "N-no..."

"Well, then what're we waiting for?"

Cloud nodded, pulling his shirt off. Loz did too, exposing his pale, muscled body. Cloud's breath hitched at the thought of all those muscles around him. He always loved men that were more built than slender. Zack was muscle-y. Angeal was muscle-y. Cloud thought back to the night of three-way passion between him and the two brunettes. Angeal took him from behind, Zack in the front, muscles all over. The sweetest pain he ever felt. The feeling of two throbbing beefcake cocks inside him.   Cloud could've easily died happily that night.

Having Loz all to himself, though. The thought alone was enough to get Cloud more than a little excited. His eyes roamed Loz's slightly flushed skin as they both undid their pants. Cloud slid out of his easily enough. Loz stood up (because of the tightness) and pulled them off, his sweet ass being exposed to the blonde first.

Then he turned around with little shame. Cloud stared openly.

Hot damn, that man was a god.

Cloud suppressed a lusty growl. Loz smirked, "You like?"

Cloud had to tear his eyes away from the enormous phallus he found himself salivating for, to coherently answer, "Fuck me, Loz."

Loz got onto the bed, kissing Cloud roughly, "That's a face I'd be insane to refuse." Cloud smiled, kissing back. Loz soon broke, reaching under the pillow for what Cloud assumed was lubricant. "Is this your first time, Cloud?"

"No. It's been a long, long time since the last time, but...it's definitely not the first time," Cloud flushed.

"Only because I'm big and wanted to prepare you the right way," Loz smiled warmly. Cloud didn't know Loz could be so warm.

Loz ran his hand up and down Cloud's body before kissing down his chest, then his navel. Cloud smiled as his lips followed the sparse hairs that led to Cloud's ache. Loz knelt in between Cloud's legs, reaching up and retrieving a pillow to put under his hips.

Loz kissed Cloud's thighs, stroking his shaft a couple of times before leaning down to his destination.

He smiled, touching Cloud's entrance briefly, "What have we here?" Loz smiled, "A delicious treat?"

"Nng—" Cloud moaned softly as Loz's hot tongue caressed his opening. Cloud's body tingled slightly, closing his eyes and panting softly. Loz held onto Cloud's hips and pushed his tongue inside. The blonde underneath him writhed pleasantly, moaning in a cute sort of way. Loz closed his eyes, devouring the sweet entrance. Cloud had never felt anything like this, unable to contain his moans.

After a bit of teasing, Loz deemed the younger ready for more—strenuous activity. He smiled, letting go and peppering his hips with kisses. "Feel good?"

"Amazing."

"Want more?"

"Goddess, yes."

Loz stroked Cloud's leg, lifting it to his shoulder as he rubbed some lubricant onto his member. They gave each other a little nod and Loz began—slowly at first, because Cloud was so tight. There was no sign of pain in his face, though, he simply begged for more. And Loz, of course, was more than happy to oblige.

He held onto Cloud's hips firmly enough to bruise, eventually gaining a brutal pace. Loz fucked Cloud like he was made for it. Cloud very much encouraged that, overwhelmed at Loz's muscles and Loz's pace and the sounds he was making and it being so damn long since his last good lay.

He was panting as hard as Loz was fucking him. Cloud was seeing stars every time the older pounded into him, growling softly and hissing how tight he was.

Cloud was at the point where he couldn't comprehend anything—that words wouldn't even come out. They wouldn't do just anyway. It was then that Loz chose to ram his prostate dead-on. Cloud practically screamed and couldn't control himself any longer, climaxing hard between their sweaty abdomens. Loz's breath hitched, finishing inside the blonde equally as hard. Loz practically collapsed, pulling away and rolling over next to Cloud. They looked at the ceiling, panting hard.

Loz exhaled in a chuckle, "That's the best I've had in a long time."

"Yeah," Cloud said vacantly, still feeling the delicious tingle of satisfaction. He kissed Loz soundly on the lips.

Their silence (and kiss) was broken by a chuckle at the doorway. Cloud broke, startled, looking in the direction of the noise. Loz was still too exhausted to care.

Loz's brother Yazoo stood nonchalantly, smirking. Cloud blushed, practically all over, "Oh Goddess..." he clumsily reached for the blanket.

"No need to be modest Cloud. We're brothers, too. Remember?" Yazoo smiled.

"How long have you been standing there?" Loz asked.

"Mm, I got home at about 'Loz, don't stop!' and I started watching at 'I'm gonna come, Cloud!' Who knew Cloud Strife was such a screamer?" Yazoo chuckled.

"Please... Don't kill me," Cloud said.

"I have honor. I'm not about to kill you when my dear, dear brother is the one that made you so...vulnerable." Cloud smiled, "Kadaj, though, he will kill you. So you best get out of here soon."

Cloud looked at him, bewildered, "You're sparing me?"

Yazoo smirked, "Three reasons. Number one; like I told you, I have honor. Number two; if Kadaj found out I killed you, he'd be all mad that he didn't get to do it himself. And number three; I'd be a hypocrite, since I, myself am sleeping with the redhead Turk."

"That's why he's been so exhausted lately..." Cloud muttered.

"I'm insatiable, to say the least."

Loz reached to the nightstand, getting a tissue and cleaning off Cloud's tummy and chest. They smiled, and Loz cleaned himself off, too. Loz got up and helped Cloud out of bed. Yazoo left them alone.

Loz put on a robe and helped Cloud get his clothes on. They looked T each other, melancholy. Loz stroked Cloud's cheek gently, "I don't want you to leave," he whispered.

"I know," Cloud sighed.

They kissed gently. Loz had tears in his eyes. Cloud kissed his cheek, "Don't cry."

"I can't help it. I—I just want you for another day or two. I know once you leave we have to be—we have to be Loz and Cloud. Enemies." Tears streamed down his cheeks.

Cloud kissed him again, gently, "Maybe one day, we can be like this again."

Loz smiled a little, "I hope so." He wiped his tears away, "i like you like this." He kissed Cloud hotly, one last time.

Cloud smiled, "I'll go. I don't want you in trouble with Kadaj."

Loz nodded, "I'll see you another day, Cloud."

Cloud smiled, "Farewell, Loz."

He turned and left, letting himself out. Loz got into bed, laying down, the smell of Cloud Strife still strong on his pillow. He closed his eyes, savoring it, and hoping that one day, it would return to the sheets once more.
