This is the first time I have ever seen Kain done justice while allowing himself to face up to what has happened. Great moments for Rosa, too.

Very nice continuation! The only criticism I can make is that it seems odd Kain would wear that helmet ceaselessly for years. Or maybe I misunderstood and you meant first time he'd shown his face to her in years?

An interesting exploration of Kain's darker side and his feelings for Rosa. I wish I had the patience to write with your eloquence.

You have no idea how pleased I am to see that someone remembers Rosa and did something including her. I see way, WAY too much Rydia, and almost never any of Rosa.

I noticed some grammar and spelling errors, and you used BBCode used for where you meant italics. Other than that, I liked it a lot. It felt like the earlier parts were kinda slow and it picked up most when the action came in.
