Chapter Two- Dream me to my Death
Author’s note: Omg.. Ya I know I surprise myself too. I had to do a sequel to this, I can’t

‘Cloud..’
His voice... I’m not... dreaming am I? I can feel his touch upon my cheeks, a gentle caress. I don’t remember falling asleep at the window.
‘Cloud..’
I inhale deeply, taking in the faint smell of cinnamon and cedar, his smell. Reno. My heart jumps, a tingle rocketing up my spine but I’m unable to move, I can only open my eyes with blurred vision. Green eyes stare back.
‘R-Reno..’
It’s the only word I can manage, the name that I repeated in my head day after day since his death. Cool lips on mine, a gentle tickle of breath against breath, the gentle touch of a summer wind.
‘Cloud..’
I see him through blurred eyes with tears tearing at the skin on my cheeks. His gentle touch is on my arms, my wrists, wiping away the blood. He shakes his head, resting it against my chest and I sob. I was the only one left. A sickness got them all, even Tifa and the children. Being so alone, I felt so scared.
‘Don’t leave me.. Please Reno.. Please don’t.. Don’t let me go..’
I feel his arms, strong and calming, like mine when I brought him home so long ago, he now did for me. He was bringing me home.
‘No Cloud.. I’ll.. I’ll never let you go.’
He laid me down on the bed, laying with me the whole night. I slipped away but I felt whole, Dream me to my death, I’ll never be alone.
