The Quadruplets

CHAPTER TWO: The Quadruplets

The cat-eyed triplets awoke the next morning in much the same way they had spent the night. Arms and legs tangled, and aroused, Yazoo became the vessel for his sibling’s desires. As Loz lay on his back, Yazoo planted kisses from his throat to his navel and then lower to his straining erection. The middle brother could not help moaning when the youngest enveloped the head of his penis in the warm cave of his mouth, and began to twirl his tongue around the slit at the top, and the ridge of the underside of the head. Yazoo sucked and teased with his tongue until Loz could almost scream with the pleasure of it.

Kadaj knelt behind Yazoo, having no intention of being gentle as the younger had been with Loz the night before. He rammed his member into Yazoo’s backside, and set a brutal tempo as his youngest brother moaned around Loz’s erection in delightful pain. Once Yazoo began to vocalize his ecstasy, Loz felt that white heat once again, and spilled his seed into Yazoo’s eager mouth. Not wanting his little brother to be left out, he positioned himself under Yazoo’s slender body and took him into his mouth, as Kadaj slammed Yazoo from behind. Loz teased Yazoo, licking the length of his shaft, taking each of his balls gently into his mouth, and even doing the same to Kadaj. The oldest brother slowed his cadence to enjoy the attention Loz was giving him. It was not long before Yazoo cried out, his sperm filling Loz's mouth.

Kadaj reached his climax soon after, the contraction of Yazoo’s inner muscles too much to ignore. Loz squirmed around so that he could kiss Yazoo, letting the man have a taste of his own seed. Yazoo collapsed on top of him, and Kadaj did the same. They lay there in a pile of sweaty flesh, simply enjoying the feel of each other.
After the morning’s exercise, Loz grew sleepy, and he closed his eyes, giving in to a light doze. He barely stirred when Kadaj left he and Yazoo to go take a quick shower. Yazoo traced lazy patterns on Loz’s broad chest. He was content like this, wanting nothing more than to be with his beautiful brothers. When Kadaj came back from the showers, Yazoo reluctantly left Loz sleeping to go take his turn under the water. Kadaj took pity on the middle brother, allowing him to rest until it was time for him to shower.

“Loz. Get up.” Kadaj ordered softly, gently shaking his younger brother. “The last pod will open soon. You don’t want to miss it, do you?”

“No, Kadaj.” Loz answered with a yawn. He opened his enchanting jade eyes and sat up. “I’m up.” He announced.

After Loz had showered, they went to the kitchen to cook a quick breakfast. The last birthing chamber was the only thing on their minds. Would their new brother be fairer than Yazoo? Stronger than Loz? Smarter than Kadaj? Or would there be something else that would make him stand out and mark him as their brother? Loz’s imagination was running away with him by the time Kadaj said they could go to the nursery. In his eagerness to meet his new sibling, Loz ran the whole way. Kadaj and Yazoo arrived shortly there after, taking their places beside Loz in front of the pod. Yazoo immediately sensed that there was something wrong.

“Why can’t I hear the pod, Kadaj?” Yazoo questioned. “Shouldn’t it be running?”

Loz peered in the partially obscured window.

“Yazoo’s right.” Loz said. “He doesn’t look very good.”

Kadaj pushed Loz away from the window to see for himself. Loz was correct. The body inside was thrashing violently in the thick green Oxyfluid.

“The chamber is damaged!” Kadaj shouted. It has not drained the Oxyfluid. Our little brother is drowning!”

Yazoo flipped open the control panel and began punching codes on the keypad. He tried several times to get the pod to open, but failed. With each attempt, the Soldier inside grew weaker. Suddenly, the level of the Oxyfluid dropped dramatically, finally draining away. The one inside slumped to the floor. Loz came out from behind the birthing chamber.

“There’s an emergency manual dump handle.” He explained. “Is little brother okay now?”

Loz had been specially trained to understand mechanical devices as he was grown in his pod. There wasn’t a machine on the planet that he couldn’t fix.

Now that the Oxyfluid was emptied, the control panel accepted Yazoo’s open code. Loz entered the chamber, intending to give aid to the nearly drowned newborn. All Loz saw of the Soldier was his incredibly long silver hair, dark and matted down because it was still wet. His littlest brother sat on the floor, his head bowed, and those extraordinary silver locks hiding his features. The little one was curled into a ball with his knees drawn up, and his arms wrapped around them. When Loz touched his newest brother, he was shoved hard, and stumbled back through the door.

Kadaj, Yazoo, and Loz stood outside, waiting for their new brother to emerge. A shapely milk white ankle took a hesitant step, followed by an equally toned leg. Kadaj’s white eyebrows shot up. Yazoo’s gentle smile became a wide grin.

“That’s not a brother!” Loz exclaimed, pointing. “It’s a sister!”

She was shorter than Yazoo, standing less than five feet tall. Her silver grey hair dragged on the floor, it was so long. Her eyes were not the color of frozen Jade like her brothers, but was darker, almost deep emerald, though she still sported the same slitted pupils that her siblings had. Those eyes sparkled magically, full of the Mako she’d been immersed in. Her body was exquisite and petite, every bit of her in proper proportion. The curves of her hips were inviting, and the brothers could see how well defined her muscles were. The thatch of silver hair at the place where her legs met hid her sex, but her breasts were perfect mounds, her nipples budding out from beneath the locks of hair that covered them.

She stood stock still, her expression serene as her older brothers inspected her. She allowed them their scrutiny for she studied them too. She found them all very pleasing to her eye. As she stood admiring them, a short stab of pain crossed her abdomen, then was gone. She did not understand it, and soon it was forgotten.

“I am ReiMei.” She said at last. “You are my brothers?”

“I am Kadaj, the eldest.” The brother said, introducing them all. “Next is Loz, and the youngest is Yazoo.”

“No longer the youngest.” Yazoo corrected.

“You’re a girl!” Loz said again.

ReiMei looked down at herself and then met Loz’s eye, smiling in the way Yazoo would have.

“Yes.” She responded. “I am a woman. Do I not please you?” For some reason, the question was vitally important to her. The reply would be as well.

Loz couldn’t answer her. His face had gone red in embarrassment. He couldn’t seem to meet her steady gaze, looking to Kadaj to answer for him.

“Yes, ReiMei,” Kadaj replied, “you are perfect.”

His petite little sister blushed at the compliment, even as she accepted the clothing that Yazoo handed her. She knew the garments would be too long for her.

“My first purpose is fulfilled.” ReiMei murmured softly, as she began to don the apparel Yazoo had provided.

“What do you mean by that?” Kadaj questioned.

“Assassins are created for two purposes.” ReiMei explained as she put on a sleeveless leather jumpsuit. “I am to please, and I am to kill. There is one Assassin assigned to three Soldiers. I am here for your pleasure, Kadaj, for Yazoo’s, and Loz’s too.”

“What of the killing?” Yazoo asked.

“Until I have orders from Hojo or another one in authority, I do not kill.” ReiMei answered. She pulled on a pair of boots, rolling up the legs of the jumpsuit until they were no longer on the ground.

“There is no one in the ShinRa complex.” Kadaj informed her. “It has been abandoned. There is no one to give orders.”

“You are the leader, Kadaj.” Loz pointed out.

“Then Kadaj may command me.” ReiMei said. She nodded her head in a short acknowledgement of his higher rank. She swung a sleeveless leather long-vest over her head, slipping her arms into the garment. She left it unzipped. The long vest was meant to be calf length, but on her slight form, it rested across her ankles. Well, at least it wasn’t on the floor like her hair.

ReiMei was now dressed and stood waiting for Kadaj’s next direction. With a short wave of his hand, he beckoned to her as he and her brothers went to the main part of the complex where Kadaj had discovered the working comps.

“Tell me,” Kadaj asked, “do you know anything of our history?”

“What would you wish to know?” ReiMei politely inquired.

“Who made us?” Kadaj requested. “I mean, I know that ShinRa Corp. is ultimately the one who made us, but who specifically had a hand in our creation?”

“Our biological donors are unknown.” ReiMei began to explain. “Ultimately, our makers are the scientists, Hojo, Lucrecia Crescent, and Gast. We have been imprinted with the DNA of ShinRa’s greatest Soldier, Hojo and Lucrecia’s son, Sephiroth. The other half of our DNA imprinting was not done. Jenova was destroyed, and the cells they had collected were suddenly not viable. We are remnants, almost-clones of Sephiroth, but incomplete because we lack Jenova cells.”

“Why do you know these things when we do not?” Yazoo questioned.

“We all had techs who overlooked the care and maintenance of our chambers.” ReiMei told him. “They were also in charge of programming the comps for our education and instruction. While I do not know who my tech was, he felt that I should know of my origins. I am grateful to him.”

It had been Gast who had been charged with ReiMei’s programming, but Hojo had also had a hand in her instructions. Gast hid what he had done well, for Hojo would have destroyed ReiMei as a failed experiment even before she emerged from her birthing chamber.

“You say that Sephiroth is our ‘Father’, so to speak, and you know who he was, what he was,” Kadaj pointed out. “yet, you say nothing of Jenova. Who was she? What was she?”

“Jenova.” ReiMei said, her voice dropping low, and her dark green cat’s eyes sparkling. “They called her the Calamity. They called her Heaven’s dark Harbinger. They took her from the planet vessel that she traveled in. She was a star child, not of this earth, and not human. She was greatly feared, but ShinRa managed to capture her. Hojo sealed her away, hooked her up to his machines and robbed her DNA to enhance the making of ShinRa’s army. We shall never be whole, for the one who would be our mother is gone now. Father tried to join with her, but she was murdered by his foes. Father’s enemies are responsible for what we are now. Poor copies, remnants of what we should have been, remnants of what Father was.”

“Names!” Kadaj demanded. “We need names to avenge her death! We must destroy the ones who are responsible for leaving us incomplete.”

“I know only that they were part of a group of gorilla fighters called ‘Avalanche’.” ReiMei replied. “However, I am sure that the names you want are in ShinRa’s extensive records. Still, if this complex has been abandoned, isn’t President ShinRa ultimately responsible for leaving us incomplete?

“Command me.” ReiMei suddenly begged of Kadaj. “Say the word and I will kill them all.”

“No, ReiMei.” Kadaj denied her. “We must not kill them too swiftly. They must suffer. Besides, I do not feel Mother’s loss the way I feel Sephiroth’s death. In the moment you said his name, I knew him. I know his great deeds, and his terrible death. I can sense the faintest essence of Mother. We are all possibilities awaiting Mother’s touch.”
`
“Mother was not destroyed?” Loz asked, finding his voice at last.

“For some reason, I don’t believe so.” Kadaj answered. “I can’t tell you why, I just do. Can’t you sense her too?”

“Yes.” Yazoo said softly. “There may be hope for us to reach fulfillment. We must find out all we can of those last days before Father died.”

Kadaj directed his brothers and sister to comps and set them on different searches. Only ReiMei refused to sit at her terminal.

“What’s wrong?” Yazoo asked, laying a tender hand on her bare arm. It was soft, warm, and whiter than his own pale skin.

ReiMei glanced at Yazoo’s hand, contemplating how she should handle the situation. She hadn’t told her brothers the whole truth when it came to who’s orders she would accept. Her mental training in the birthpod included obeying her elders. Loz and Yazoo could command her skills as well. ReiMei laid her hand over Yazoo’s and treated him to a warm smile that would make any other male melt.

“The only thing that’s wrong is that I have no weapons.” ReiMei explained. “Could you show me where you got yours?” ReiMei pointed at Yazoo’s gun.

With a nod from Kadaj, Yazoo left his comp terminal and led ReiMei out of the room.
