Caught by the hands of fate.

Zack blinked his eyes open, sitting up but released a loud groan, a shooting pain coursed through his head, spine, arms, legs… Everywhere sent him back down. “What happened…?” He asked out loud, though his voice was broken and sore so his words came out as a faint whisper. The sun hit his face, making him have to squint in order to see anything, and that didn’t mean everything was clear either. He lay back, closing his eyes. Trying desperately to remember something… Anything.

“Alright, Zack… Let’s see what ya know…” He mumbled, it hurt to speak, but even so he continued to voice his thoughts. “you’re a… First class SOLDIER… And… You have a best f… riend.” He groaned, “Cloud… But… What happened…?” He opened his eyes again and forced himself to sit up, this time bracing himself for the shooting pain attacking every fibre of his body. “Seph. He burnt down Niblheim and then… Mnn…” Zack rubbed his head, looking around himself. “Holy mother of Gaia….” He said, shuffling backward despite the extreme pain it caused him. “What…?” It seemed to him that something extreme must have happened. Otherwise he wouldn’t have been sitting in the middle of a crater.

“Mhh…?” Cloud mumbled sleepily, light flashed through his new bedroom window, directly at his eyes, thus preventing him from going back to sleep. “Morning…” He instinctively mumbled, since normally the only time he would see light would be because Sephiroth had opened the door to his old room, waking him. Cloud was slightly surprised when he realised that it wasn’t Sephiroth that had woken him. Even more so that he was in a bed. A BED! But of course, his confusion was short lived as his memories from that night flooded back in a mere second. “Master…” Cloud whispered. The words tasted foul, he repeated the word, almost spitting it out. He hated having to refer to Sephiroth that way. Sephiroth was his lover. No… He wasn’t. That was a lie, but a lie that felt so good. A white lie he told himself to prevent tears. He wasn’t himself. He hadn’t been himself since Sephiroth had broken him, he felt weak… Like he needed protecting. He was broken… “Zack…” He said, looking out of his window again. “I hope they listened… Oh gods help me…”

“Damnit! Why…Do craters… Have to be so… So…” Zack’s ranting about his situation (Being him stuck in a crater, which he had unintentionally created, with no easy escape) was cut short as he, once again, fell back down to the lower surface of the crater. “DAMN SLOPE!” He yelled out in annoyance. ‘Eh… Look on the bright side. At least the pain is numbing.’ He reminded himself. ‘But damn… This is just… what the hell is this anyway?’ He reached over his shoulder to grab the buster sword. “Use leads to wear and rust… But I can make an acceptation this one--” Zack paused, panicking. He hit his shoulder several times, dared to look over his shoulder. “Shit… Oh crap… Oh shit oh crap oh crap!” He said, wide eyed. “What did I do with…?” His voice trailed off.

‘My hopes… My dreams… They’re your’s now.’

‘You’ll be…My living legacy…’

“Cloud…” Zack said with a sigh, wondering why exactly he was here. “I was dead… What the heck am I doin’ back here…?” He wondered out loud. He smirked to himself, “I guess there’s only one way to find out.” He said, preparing himself for another attempt to get out of the crater.

Cloud cried out, pain becoming unbearable as the silver haired sex god pounded into him. Cloud was bent over the side of the kitchen counter. His pants and underpants around his ankles.

Sephiroth must have been in a bad mood since all he said to Cloud when the half-asleep blonde came into the kitchen was: “Bend over the counter, Slut.” And so Cloud did, as he didn’t want to be hurt or abused. He couldn’t bare to have Sephiroth hurt him anymore than this.

Cloud almost screamed as Sephiroth came hard inside him, the feeling made Cloud feel sick. He hated it, the sting of the salty substance, the feeling of it dripping down his thigh, mixing with his blood. Cloud simply fell to the floor when Sephiroth backed away, no longer supporting him. Holding him in place against the counter.

“H-hurry up… I can’t do this anymore…” Cloud sobbed once Sephiroth had left the kitchen. He curled up into a protective ball and squeezed his eyes shut. First thing in the morning wasn’t a good time to be raped. He had concluded this so many times before. “Hurry up…” He repeated between sobs. Looking over at the kitchen door he scrambled to his feet, pulling his pants up. It was a good thing he was light-footed. He half-smiled at a small memory of Zack telling him he was delicate one time they were hanging out at the first’s quarters.

The blonde crept down the halls, finding his way to the front door. Hoping it was unlocked… He froze, halfway reaching to the handle. He could hear footsteps.

If the door was locked… He would most certainly be hurt.

If it was unlocked, he would have nowhere to go. But at least having nothing would be better than an abusive partner and a hell hole to live in.

The footsteps were getting louder, Cloud too his chances and grabbed onto the door handle, pushing it down.

The next thing he knew, he was running like there was no tomorrow, despite the awful, yet numbing, pain in his backside. He just ran, not looking back. Looking back meant he could risk running into something and knocking himself out. Stopping could give Sephiroth an advantage to catch up with him if he was being chased. So the best thing to do was run… And just keep going.

‘Just keep running… Don’t look back. Keep going until you can’t go anymore… That’s your best bet. Get as far away as you can!’ Cloud mentally urged himself onward. And all was going great until… Crash. Cloud wasn’t concentrating… he had fallen into a hole of some sort. But not just a hole… When he looked up and saw the person he least expected he would ever see again… He realised he must have fallen into fate’s hands.

[ I hope this is okay ^^ ;; At least I hope all you guys actually reading it think it's okay.

Sorry I didn't go into much detail with Seph and Cloud but it's hard to write about an unappealing pairing sometimes, y'know?

But I assure 110% that Zack and Cloud scenes will be a hell of a lot better!
