Freedom and Forgotteness
It was weeks later and Sephiroth’s life had fallen apart. He no longer left the house and his will to live was at an all time low.

Vincent thrashed against the chains that bound him to the wall. He was heartbroken when he thought of the fate of his fragile love. Sephiroth’s mind was unstable, something this big would shatter it utterly. If he did nestrestroy the planet, then he would destroy himself. Vincent had to free himself; for his sake and Sephiroth’s.

Sephiroth gathered up what gil he had, a pencil, pen and a notepad, his masamune and as much food as he could carry in a backpack. He then left, his diary still sitting on the table where it had always been, left open to the last entry he had scrawled out with tears in his eyes and flowing down his cheeks, that read:
Dear Diary,
I can’t take it anymore. I don’t want to live without Vincent. I refuse to live without him. Life just isn’t worth living without him.
