Author’s Note: I love killing people!!!! It was the most fun! In real life I can’t kill people... I get sick at the sight of my own blood. I’m so weak... if I was in the game Sephiroth would have killed me long ago... but only because I’d be to busy staring at him. But anyway... writing is going to be harder now because I just got my second semester final project assignment... so I’ll be working on that... then there’s the trip to Spain... what a busy year this is... but enough of this and on with the story. [I think that I’ll rate this chapter ‘R’... trust me, it’ll deserve it...] *___*;;;

***

Eve walked through the cold snow, her arms wrapped around her to try to keep warm. Winter in Tahoe was nothing compared to what she was going through, but then again she wasn’t wearing a tank top last winter. Sephiroth didn’t seem to mind at all. I bet he can’t feel anything.... Eve sighed angrily and she continued to track through the knee high snow. As far as she knew they were many days ahead of Cloud, but she really couldn’t remember how long they’d been going. Eve didn’t know if Barret and Red XIII were dead, they could have been just horribly hurt.... but Sephiroth had told her that they were and that Cloud wanted her dead now. Fun stuff... as her sister would have said.

The wind howled so loud that Sephiroth had to motion to Eve that they were stopping for the night. He had found a small cave at the base of the mountains that surrounded the area. It was already dark outside when they finally got there, Eve almost blue from the cold. Sephiroth was cold too, but he wasn’t going to say anything about it. There was a few dead branches in the very back of the cave, left by other travelers, Sephiroth brought them back to the front and used his fire materia to light them. The flames cast an orange glow on Eve’s face, who was hugging her legs closer to her body for warmth. Eve was just happy that they weren’t going to camp out in the open again. She rested her head against her knees and muttered, “I hate snow...”

Sephiroth sat down across from her, watching the two strands silver in her bangs turn orange. “Stop complaining. We’ll reach Icicle Inn tomorrow,” Sephiroth meant it to be comforting, but had turned out to be less than that.

Eve lifted her head up and glared at him. “Listen, you’re the one that wants to be come the god and destroy the world. I wouldn’t be here if you didn’t drag me. So keep your damn comments to yourself and stop yelling at me.”

Sephiroth was shocked. And pissed. And hurt all at the same time. He didn’t know whether or not he should yell at her or just keep quiet. But before he could stop himself, Sephiroth yelled, “Maybe if you didn’t act like a bitch all the time I wouldn’t yell at you!” Sephiroth took his eyes off Eve for one moment and the next thing he knew there was snow across one side of his face. “Why you-” was all he could say before Eve threw another and hit him right in the middle of his face.

When Sephiroth wiped the snow out of his eyes Eve was crouched on the ground with more snow in her hand. He swore he could see fire in her eyes when she yelled, “I hate you, you fucking ass!!! I should have left you after the boat!!”

Sephiroth didn’t say anything for a moment, he merely looked at Eve. Water dripped from her hair from the snow that was in it and her clothes were wet enough to stick to her thin body, showing the curves of her chest. A smile slowly crept across his face, “You’ve told me that many times.... but I beginning to believe that it is the opposite...” He watched her face flush crimson before she threw three more snowballs at him. When he shook the snow off Eve was back to sitting with her head on her knees. “You know, Eve... if you’re cold you could...”

Eve lifted her head back up, “I know what you’re going to say, and the answer is no. I’d rather freeze to death...” She put her head back down and tried to ignore Sephiroth so she could get some sleep.

***

Sephiroth sat up and gasped. A snow storm had blow in during the night. The cave was covered in frost and snow. He stood up and shook off the snow and looked around. The fire was gone and the rest of the sticks were frozen. He spotted Eve, half covered in snow, not moving. When he took a step closer he saw that her skin was light blue and frost covered her hair. He bent down and touched her shoulder, she was ice cold. Sephiroth tried nudging her, but she didn’t respond. It wasn’t until he grabbed both her shoulders and shook her did he check for her pulse. It was faint, almost nonexistent. Sephiroth muttered curses under his breathe and picked her up, holding her in his arms. You almost got your wish... he thought as he remembered that Eve had said that she’d rather freeze to death than be near him. But after all this he wasn’t going to let her die, she wasn’t going to get off that easy.

It was still snowing heavily outside, but within an hour he had reached Icicle Inn with Eve still unconscious in his arms. He made his way to the inn and demanded a room from the inn keeper. The inn keeper gave him the key with a shaking hand. Sephiroth paid him no mind; he went back over to where he sat Eve down and picked her back. Sephiroth slammed the door open and carefully set Eve down on the bed. He closed the door and looked at Eve. Her head was turned to one side; if he didn’t see her chest move as she breathed he would have thought her dead. The snow that covered her was already melted, soaking her clothes again. Sephiroth sighed and thought of how mad Eve was going to be when she woke up, completely livid and breathing fire came to mind. But he got past the thought and went for her clothes; she couldn’t get any better with wet clothes keeping her cold. He stripped of her shirt and pants leaving only her underwear on. He dried her as best as he could, trying not to think about anything else other than Eve’s health. Sephiroth put her into the thick blanket that covered the bed and decided that he should dry off before he ended up like Eve. He removed his boots and went into the bathroom to remove some of his clothes and dry off. When Sephiroth came back out he as happy that Eve had regained some of her normal color and had moved slightly. He sat down in one of the chairs to rest a bit before Eve would wake up and want to kill him.

***

Eve moved sluggishly beneath the blankets that covered her. Everything hurt, even her eyes. But she pushed herself up on aching arms and felt the lack of clothes. Eve looked down and saw what she was lacking. Her eye twitched before she screamed, “Where the FUCK are my clothes!!!!!!?” She turned herself around and found Sephiroth half in a chair.... and half clothed. The only thing he was wearing was his pants; he wasn’t even wearing his boots. Normally she would have blushed but she was so mad about her disappearing clothes that she barely noticed.

Sephiroth yawned and scratched his head like there was nothing wrong. “Nice to see you’re still alive...”

Eve grabbed on of the pillows and threw it at Sephiroth. “Don’t act like there’s nothing wrong! Where are my clothes!!!!?” Sephiroth let the pillow hit him in the face and said nothing to her. Then she realized that she had let the blanket fall away and he was staring at her partially covered chest. Eve blushed slightly and pulled the sheet up to her.

Sephiroth's gaze returned to her face in enough time to see the hateful look on Eve’s face. He sighed, “So this is the thanks I get for saving you....” Eve looked at him confused so he continued, “You nearly froze to death in that cave, and so I brought you to Icicle Inn. How were you going to recover if you were wearing wet clothes? Besides... you should be happy, I wanted to climb in with you.”

Eve turned bright red and disappeared beneath the covers. She didn’t need this right now, they were almost to North Cave and up till now Sephiroth had left her alone. She heard Sephiroth get up; she hoped that he was going to leave. But his arms were suddenly around her waist, pinning her own arms to her sides. She struggled to free herself but he only held her tighter. Eve could feel his cold chest against her back. “You can’t keep yourself from me forever... I’ll have you one day...” Sephiroth whispered into Eve’s ear. He let go of her and walked into the bathroom leaving Eve curled up on the bed. The moment she heard the door close she jumped out of the bed and found her clothes drying on another chair and pulled them on. As soon as she pulled on her shoes, Eve was out the door. She was having mixed feelings about everything all of a sudden; there wasn’t enough room in her head for all the thoughts. She went down stairs to grab something to eat, hoping that food would help her think.

***

Some time later Eve was still down in the restaurant underneath the inn. She had eaten a lot of food, though she had no idea how long she had been asleep for, and was nursing a soda for a half an hour. She didn’t want to go back to the room; she had no idea if Sephiroth was still there or not. But when she yawned Eve decided to go back and go to sleep. Eve paid the waiter and made her way back up stairs. When she returned Sephiroth wasn’t there. Eve sighed and removed her boots, thinking of the sleep to come. Before she could even take a step towards the bed Sephiroth came up behind her and grabbed her. Eve didn’t move much until she felt his lips on her shoulder. Then she took her elbow and rammed it into Sephiroth's ribs, causing him to let go. He took a step back and rubbed the spot that Eve had hit. “Damnit Sephiroth! I am not here to be your plaything!!! I’m here to help you destroy the planet and nothing else!!!!!!” she yelled.

He was silent for a time, looking like he was thinking of the right thing to say. Then he crossed his arms across his naked chest, “....Fine. I’ll leave you alone if that’s what you want.” Sephiroth stepped back over to Eve and placed his hand gently on her face. “But.... I want one last kiss...”

One kiss and in return he’ll leave me alone? “....Okay. Only one.” Sephiroth smiled sheepishly. He wrapped one arm around her waist while his hand slid through her hair. He looked deep into her eyes before finally going for her lips. At first taste, Sephiroth knew she had been eating something sweet. She didn’t even fight when he slid his tongue into her mouth. It was a long while before he released her lips only to go again. She tried to fight the second kiss, but her muscles turned to mush before she could free herself.

Eve could feel the bed behind her now; Sephiroth slowly pushed her back towards it. She felt that she should protest or something, but the only thing she could feel was his hand move over her breast. She moaned softly Sephiroth pinched her nipple. He tenderly pushed Eve down onto the bed, the sheets still half open. He started kissing her neck, listening to her quickening breathe and soft moans. Slipping his hand underneath her shirt he felt the bra, almost forgotten in his quest to seduce her. Sephiroth continued to suck on a particularly sensitive part of Eve’s neck as he slipped his hands around and unsnapped the be-damned piece of cloth. The flesh of her breasts was hot to the touch, quickening the dull ache in his pants. Sephiroth grabbed the ends of Eve’s tank top and pulled it over her head, bra and all until he could see the hard pink nipples up top her breasts. He couldn’t help but smile as he ran his lips down her neck until he came to her chest. He worked one nipple between his thumb and forefinger while suckling the other, Eve’s loud gasps and moans causing him to do it harder. Blinded by passion Sephiroth reached for the belt that held Eve’s pants up. He undid them as quick as he could, pushing down both the pants and underwear. He looked down at the nude body of Eve before pulling his own pants off and throwing them to the side. Eve’s cheeks were crimson at the sight of Sephiroth's nakedness, unconsciously trying to cover her chest from sight. She looked away, only to feel feathery soft kisses on her neck again. Sephiroth moved her hands and lowered himself until he was on top of her. He hadn’t seen Eve that shade red since the time they were sparing and some how he tripped on a rock and fell on her. He smiled at the thought and started kissing her again. Then as the color in Eve’s face started to return to normal did he stop the foreplay. He opened her legs and thrusted himself into her. Eve yelled, half in plain and pleasure. She dug her nails into his shoulders with each thrust. He could feel the climax coming, both of them breathing heavily. Sephiroth grunted and shuddered as he came, Eve moaning as he stopped. Her hands slipped away and fell limp onto the bed, her breathe coming slower now. Sephiroth buried his face in her neck and breathed deep the scent of her sweat. “Eve... eve... eve...” he kept saying.

Eve shifted underneath Sephiroth's weight and mumbled, “Son of a bitch.... I thought you said one kiss....”

Sephiroth gave a low laugh, “That’s all it takes....” he lifted his head and looked down into Eve’s grey eyes. “I told you I’d have you....” Sephiroth kissed Eve’s enflamed cheek and continued, “...and I enjoyed myself very a great deal doing it. But this would have happened much sooner if I’d known that you were a virgin still.”

Eve’s anger flared. She grabbed him by his shoulders and tried to push him off her. “Why you jackass!”

Sephiroth smiled at the attempt and pushed himself back down, Eve’s hands slipping from his shoulders. “I don’t think you’re in any... position to say anything like that right now.” She thought of grabbing his hair and pulling, but instead she wrapped a lock of it around her finger. Sephiroth started assaulting her neck again as she as she slipped her arms back.

Eve moaned, “What, again?” Sephiroth reached over and covered them with the sheet that had been forgotten in his attempt to get Eve. “No way. You got what you want, now get off.”

“You’re not getting off that easy,” he replied between kisses. “I told you that you were beautiful, but I’ve wanted you for a while now.” He stopped for a moment and looked at Eve. “Yes I seduced you, but it was the only way to get you to stop acting like a frigid bitch.” She opened her mouth to say something, but he stopped her, “And don’t say that your emotions will make you weak.” Eve took a deep breathe and turned her head, letting her hair cover her face from view. He brushed the hair away and continued, “Someone has to have emotions, and I’d rather that it be you. And you need to trust me more.”

“Fine,” Eve breathed.

Sephiroth smiled and turned her face. “Good. Now, morning is a long time away and I’m not done yet.” Eve groaned but was quickly silenced by Sephiroth's lips.

***

Sephiroth ran his fingers through Eve’s hair as she slept, head resting on his neck. He enjoyed feeling her breathing on him. It was sometime before dawn, though Sephiroth was not planning on sleeping. Eve moved in her sleep, getting closer to him for warmth. There was a sudden thought in his head, that maybe he’d be able to see into her dreams now. He laid there for a moment, listening to Eve breathe, before he decided that he was going to try. Never know what I might find in there.... but he really didn’t care. He shut his eyes and entered her mind.

At first Sephiroth thought that she was still closing her mind to him, everything was dark and the only thing he could see was mist. But then he looked down he saw he had a physical form, dressed in his normal attire. Sephiroth walked through the swirling mist, wondering why Eve would be dreaming of such a place.

“Damn you bitch!!!” someone screamed. There was the sound of someone being slapped that followed and then a soft thud. Sephiroth followed the sound and came upon the strangest sight. Eve was on her knees, one hand holding her face, while a woman taller than her stood over her. What struck him as odd was that Eve looked like she did before all the training and the mako pool, her hair still strawberry blonde. The woman, on the other hand, was stranger still. Her hair was light purple with jewels all through it; jewels decorated her arms and neck as well. She dressed in silks the same color as her hair, the cloth shimmering in some light. The woman grabbed a handful of Eve’s hair and pulled it so she faced the woman. “I give you the ability to fend for your self, as long as you never sleep with anyone. And what do you do? You go and fuck him anyway!!!”

“I’m sorry, you expected me to tell him no when he had his tongue in my mouth? Besides, you don’t give me the ability to defend myself; you just take over my body and do it for me.” The woman threw Eve backwards in a fit of rage. “I could defend myself, I’m sure Sephiroth didn’t train me for a year and a half just to have some spirit named Jasmine to possess me every time there’s a fight.” The woman walked up and slapped her hard across the face again.

Sephiroth had had enough. He stormed through the mist and attacked the woman, sending her flying. She looked up at Sephiroth in complete horror while Eve looked at him dumbfounded. “Damnit Sephiroth! I thought I told you to stay outta my head!”

“And I see this was the reason why.” He turned to the woman on the floor and pointed his sword at her. “If I ever sense you in her body again I’ll destroy you. And don’t think I don’t know a way to kill you without hurting Eve. Now go!” the woman disappeared in a puff of smoke leaving Sephiroth and Eve alone on the dark plain of her mind. He turned to Eve, “What was that?”

Eve, who was still on the floor, didn’t answer right away. After a moment of thinking she replied, “I really don’t know. She appeared when I was fifteen. I had completely forgotten about her until you brought me here. I think she’s some kind of spirit.”

“Well, I don’t think you’ll have to deal with her anymore. But... where am I?”

“My subconscious. It usually looks a lot better than this,” Eve waved her hand around showing him the bleak landscape. “How’d you guess that there was someone else controlling me during battles?”

“Because you were different than you normally were, even for you there was a big change.” He paused for a moment and continued, “There was the time you cut out a giant snake’s eyes and freaked out about it after it was dead.... and then there was....”

“Alright! I get it,” Eve sighed and fell backwards. “I’m not as brave as I made myself out to be.”

“That’s not true, if you weren’t brave you would have told me no when I asked you here. Not many people are brave enough to leave their own planet and travel to another just to destroy it.” Sephiroth walked over to where Eve was laying and saw little blades of grass sprouting up around her. Eve’s subconscious self looked tired. He bent down and kissed her cheek, “I’m going to leave. I’ll see you when you wake up.” Eve mumbled something as her eyes closed. He stood back up and started walked back the way he came. Sephiroth turned around just before he left to see that everything had changed. There was grass and flowers everywhere and Eve was surrounded by great birch trees. He suddenly understood why she tried to spend her time daydreaming, her mind was a beautiful place. He watched a stream flow passed him before finally leaving Eve’s mind.

***

It wasn’t until some hours later did Eve wake up. She was half expecting to see Sephiroth lying next to her, but he wasn’t there. Eve sighed greatly and pulled herself out of bed, every muscle in her body aching from the night before’s events. Eve wanted nothing more than to go back to sleep, but knowing Sephiroth he’d most likely want to head on out. Or do it again, she wasn’t too sure which it’d be. She pulled her clothes back on after finding them scattered around the room. She grabbed her brush out of her pack and quickly brushed her hair before leaving the room. She walked down the stairs and looked around for Sephiroth. You’d think he’d stick around to gloat... she was about to go down stairs and get breakfast when someone grabbed her. Eve almost screamed, but she felt leather encased arms holding her and there was only one person her knew that wore that much. “Hello Sephiroth.”

Sephiroth laughed in a deep low voice. “How’d you know?”

“There’s only one person I know who wears that much leather and it’s you,” Sephiroth held her closer to him, breathing on her neck. “Stop doing that.”

Sephiroth lifted his head up and whispered in her ear, “Why? You did that to me all night.”

“Really? Was that after you decided to let me sleep or after you went into my head?”

“Heh... I was hoping you’d forget that.” Eve tried to face him, but he placed a light kiss on her cheek. She stopped and blushed bright red, turning her face the other way. He suddenly wished that he wasn’t wearing his gloves so that he could feel her warm skin. “I guess after the first time you still have some... virgin tendencies. Too bad there isn’t enough time to cure you of them.”

Eve moved her head to look at Sephiroth. “Huh?”

“I’ve leaving for North Crater and you are going to stay here.”

“What?”

Sephiroth released Eve, who turned and looked at him with the most puzzling look. “You are going to stay here. I’m want you to lead Cloud and his friends straight to North Crater.”

“And why is that?”

“So I have time to prepare for them.”

“But what about the Black Materia?” Eve was getting more confused by the moment.

“You’ll take it with you and give it to me when you arrive. I trust you not to do something stupid with it,” Sephiroth said, implying that she didn’t trust him enough yet.

“You mean you trust me not to had it over to Cloud and leave you to die....”

“Exactly. Plus you get to test out your abilities and.... recuperate... from last night” Sephiroth smirked at Eve.

Eve glared at him as hard as she could. “You have no idea how much I’d like to slap you right now...” she said, sparks in her eyes.

“I bet you do.” Sephiroth grabbed her hand and pulled her close. He kissed Eve on her lips and pulled away before he could decide on leaving the next day. “Take care of yourself, I still need you whole.”

Sephiroth walked out the door out into the snow, disappearing in a swirl of white. Eve stood there for a minute, legs too weak to move. Then she groaned, holding her head with one hand. “God, what have I gotten myself into?!”

***

Yea!! It’s the end! I know... there wasn’t any fighting in this chapter. But this chapter was like a space filler between the last one and the next one. Plus I felt that I put Sephiroth through enough of Eve’s crap and decided to give him her. Look, see how happy he is! [points at Sephiroth, who seems to be molesting Eve] [Eve: Some creator you are...] Silence! Be happy I didn’t stick with the other idea I had for this chapter, I almost had him rape you! Now, I promise that here will be lots of action in the next chapter! Later!!!
