Chapter 6: The Temple

Kei_kun: Well its that time again.
Squall: Bout time we got to finish this Sinspawn off.
Kei_kun: Well…its not my fault work got in my way and my computer decided to eat the story either. Anyways on with the show!
Tidus: *Runs over and jumps on Squall.*

Chapter 6: The Temple
Tidus jumped out of the way as the tentacle came out of the ground landing on his ass.
“OW! Damn plants.” Tidus complained.
“Well if you watched where you were going you would not have fallen.” Lulu said.
“Oh sure blame me.” He said ducking a swing at his head. “That is it.” He said slicing thru a tentacle. “I will not stand or sit for this any more! Hey Squall how do I summon Ifrit?”
“Are you sure you want to?” Squall asked.
“Yes, He is fire right?”
“Well yes but it has not been that long since you got him. Are you sure?” He asked again. Dodging the tentacles and slicing more.
“YES!”
“Ok think of summoning him like you did when you got him from the sphere and say Hell Fire!”
Tidus thought hard about summoning Ifrit. He brought his left arm in the air then stuck it straight forward and yelled “HELL FIRE!” Suddenly the ground just in front of Tidus erupted into flames. The ground shook violently, and out came a huge creature with horns and fire covering his body.
“Wow!” Exclaimed Yuna.
“Ifrit attack the Geneaux’s tentacles with fire!” Command Tidus.
Geneaux tentacle’s bursted into flames as Ifrit sent Firga at them.
“We need to crack that shell!” Squall yelled over the fire.
“Let me try.” Tidus said. He ran at Geneaux and tried to cut it but his brotherhood did not cut far. “Shit its too hard, I can’t cut it.”
“Stand back I’m going to cat a flare on it!” Lulu warned. She jumped back with everyone else and casted flare on it.
Geneaux’s shell bursted into flames and cracked.
“Now try both of you.”
“Let’s go.” Tidus and Squall said together. Tudus ran on it’s right while Squall ran on it’s left. Both of them sliced thru it’s shell at the same time opening it up exposing the main body.
“I’m going to summon.” Yuna warned performing the dance to summon Valéfor.
Valéfor landed beside her then flew back in the air.
“Valéfor use Sonic Wings to slow it down.” She commanded.
Valéfor rose into the air some and brought its wings back and forth sending a huge gust of wind at Geneaux, but it did not work. Geneaux spit out some venom at Squall. Squall went down on his knees holding his chest breathing hard.
“Squall!” Tidus and Lulu said together.
“Yuna cast Esuna on Squall.”
Yuna ran up to Squall and cured him of his poison.
“Thank you Yuna.” Squall said breathlessly.
“No problem.”
“IFRIT USE HELL FIRE!” Tidus screamed.
Ifrit shot up into the air and thru a giant fire ball at Geaneaux killing it on contact. Yuna dismissed Valéfor while Tidus stood there staring at Squall tears running down his face. Squall got up from where he was kneeling and walked over to Tidus.
“Dismiss him Tidus.”
“O…k.” Tidus said thinking hard about drwning him in. Slowly Ifrit faded. Tidus fell over passed out.
“Damn I warned him.”
Squall picked up Tidus and turned to Lulu.
“Is the temple much farther?” He asked.
“No its just up the steps.” She replied.
“Good I’m going to see if the temple has a spare room I can use to lay him down till he wakes up.” He said walking up the stairs carrying Tidus. Squall walked to the temple priest.
“Priest is there a room I can set him in? He passed out after a fight with a sinspawn.” He asked.
“Sure right this way.” The priest said leading Squall to a room.
